Roland S-1 CHORD5

The video that I got the most reactions from (aside from the OP-Z set) was the original CHORD5 video from Jamuary 2018! I used the Korg Volca Keys in a special way with the LFO on the filter to create rhythmical Chord stabs. The problem was that the Volca Keys LFO can't be synced to tempo and for that the piece only worked in a specific tempo (70bpm). With the @rolandsynthandaira #S1, the LFO can be synced and best of all in more interesting rates than just "on the beat". Neat!

This is really good. And I love that you actually played too. So many videos I watch are literally just people turning on pre programmed sequencers. I mean yeah it’s fine when it’s just a starting point or an arp but then I like to see and hear actually playing. Really nice job. I don’t have these yet but I may have to sell a few pieces of kit to get at least the s1 and the t8. The chords are sweet though too!!

Question: why did you hit play on both the t-8 and the s-1 at the beginning? Couldn’t you have just hit play on the t-8 since they’re sync’d?

He's using sync and not midi. Sync does not transmit start stop messages, only clock signal.
