15 people who disliked this track ain't got clue about music house music I was 14 when I heard this track in a shop we ended dancing to this I mean all of us in a shop in 1993 summer I will never ever ever forget this mix beutifull mix this got me in to house music wooooooooooooow
Same here, I totally forgot about this song but it had so much lasting impressions on some of our lives and was our introduction to the music we love today!!
1992-1998 Living in Cincinnati Ohio, Joliet & Chicago Illinois wearing different retro Cereal shirts, JNCO wide leg pants with addidas shell toe shoes just being young, immature, no money, living in Joliet Job Corps for 4 years, freedom of expression and organically happy with others like me while eating Chicken flavored Ramen Noodles enjoying late 1980's & all of the 1990's House, Techno, Acid & HipHouse music! No rich Internet Star teenagers with more money than their parents back then.
Holy crap! I totally remember this as a kid it was like the first time a dance song was #1 on the charts lol this lady blew it out of the water on this song and sold so many records! Everybody loved it and was dancing having a good time!!!
Read my comment above B96 did Gabrielle SUPER Dirty at the concert when they had her perform it was a nightmare. We were all like OMG no one told her....why didn't they tell her
I was bumping this in 3rd grade back then! Had that tape with 4 cassettes(single)! Yes this is the best version but i heard the slower track first, been lookin for this for a while good job!
Y....E...S... I had this cassette and Y...E...S... They played it a PALLADIUM for me. I even wore her I patch too. Then I went to Peters House😍😘 She was performing at PALLADIUM. Did a great job too!
A..n..d..Y...E...S. Dreams do come true . Gabrielle thank u. I hope u r still writing your songs and performing would like to reconnect with all of u guys and girls again. Especially Aphrodita please send her my love.😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
finally found this shit! original hit came out way before my time; this remix i bought on vinyl at Gramaphone Records in Chicago but misplaced it during a move.
I love gramophone records. I'm pretty sure they are still there, I bought a couple records from there a few years ago. I'm so glad I have so many house classics on vinyl.
I still play this track now, its great seeing people's reaction to it!!!! They start sing it straight away, then you see it dawn on them what it is....
This isn't the exact version from when I was young, but this club my friends and I went to had a line dance called "The Bus Stop" I didn't think I would ever get it. It was a lot of fun....I wish I could remember that dance? Way too hard for me. Haha
Pity the chord progression has been removed from the track. Seems kinda empty without it? Pretty much an acapella a drum program on the tr 909 and a korg m1 bassline with the korg m1 organ sound which is quite bassy. Seems a bit unfinished without the chord progression
LOL yall I met this woman the moment she got off stage at the B96 Million Dollar Giveaway event she came and in the VIP booth where the performers and the B96 staff and DJS (my ex husband is one) and others and she sat down next to me looking defeated.......In London THIS is not how this song was intended this song is SLOW........So when she performed to a SOLD OUT venue........people stood there looking stupid WAITING for the beat......it never came she sang the song the way she wrote it and the way it was intended NO ONE said hey girl we don't play it like this in the States.......people lost their minds when she came out and started singing, she didn't get the same reception at the end of the song which is a full 3 and a half minutes and was SLOWWWWWWWW it felt like an eternity when she performed it, I felt so bad for this woman....she was so upset
Ouch...awesome song but it sounds like it was sourced from a cheap old 8 track player, than passed through a potato before it was improperly uploaded to youtube with an eazybake oven? Damn...Ima keep lookin and I''ll report back when I find it.

Mixed it with Sagat F@#k Dat. This song, this mix, was fire in the club.
Not the best mix of it...but this was made in a garden shed and it kicked off the garage scene that didn't exist before this tune. It's legendary.

Yeah, it's pretty minimal. Still got some nice quality to it. Would be interesting to see what someone like Ibitaly could do with it today.
