Can u believe Jesus is black with those little things on his head? Yes yes yes! I believe hallelujah! Even though the movie was not about Jesus it was about Clarence . I love this movie. I am a great grand mother and follower of Jesus The Christ.
Yes, My Brother and I Hope Your Woman Is Black. If I Were Younger, I Would Check You Out. Blessings Brotha.
OMG! You said it all.
There were so many beautiful black women in this movie ❤😊
4sure!!
You know the ALMIGHTY GOD created black people soooooooooooo special 😍😉
🙌
I love this movie. Watched it three times in a row. The scene had me going. Getting down in AD .
Then Jesus came in, turned the water into wine and kept the party going lol.❤❤ Imagine if it was really like this back then.
Detroit’s own, The Jones Girls. Man they were fine and talented. RIP Brenda and Valorie
Saw this In the theater when it came out and immediately started singing!!! The cast got down on this one! Shout out to The Jones Girls for this timeless track!

@@BENNIFRANX100 Exactly! I'm 41 and grew up on nothing but music. I really hope they check it out.
This was a very Good film. This scene was such a Nice surprise man. I love when movies do shit like this.
This movie was dope, and this scene is amazing. The song fits so perfectly 👌 🔥 Loved watching it in the theater, and I let it play on Netflix. We need to run it up! I think if more people saw it, they would love it too.
This was ERRYTHANG!!! A REAL Black ass moment!! 🤣 LOVED IT ✊️‼️😎 Instant Classic!! #tBoC
4Sure, I just wish more ppl will watch it. Definitely a instant classic!!
In '81 I knocked over furniture to record this off the radio onto my cassette tape recorder LOL!!! So glad to know that a new generation is turned onto this amazing song. One of my all time favorites. Just beautiful.
Definitely a Classic!
Maaaaaaaan!!!!!! Whoever chose this song is a fuckin genius!!!! I've played this song so many times, my kids know the lyrics and will even dance with me 😂. The Jones Girls 🖤🖤🖤

As a black man. I am proud that I lived to see this beautiful movie 😊🩶!!!
@@I-own-2-dogs-now92 Yea I wish more of us would watch this film, instead of listening to the here say.
@@BENNIFRANX100It was produced by the wrong kind of people that's the problem.
@Thespeedrap Hey wassup, not u again lol!
I would've never expected this to be a scene but it was one of thee best scenes out the movie. I already loved the song it was perfect and a vibe!!
yea I didn't expect it all, I was hype lol!!!
I loved it!🫶🏾
When I was a child, I would dance and sing (try to sing) to this for HOURS! It brings back memories...
So did I!
This scene was so lit. The song a classic in itself mixed with the Egyptian choreography was epic! Great movie and the cast was outstanding. ❤️🫶🏾🎬
Absolutely!!
This scene was SUBLIME!
On another level!!
This scene 🔥
Watching this movie, it makes believe even more who the REAL Israelites are. I'm surprised they released this on Netflix.
Yeah I'm watching it again 2nite!
Great movie, favorite scene !!!!
The Jones Girls. Fin to be number one trending.
Hopefully, this song is a classic!! #ptvgfx #ptvent
Oh my goodness. This is my favorite scene. Clarence put the mack down thru the who movie to lead to this. And the friend in the background...just classic
Ur absolutely rite!!!
This song make the speakers even louder when I watched it at the theater.
🔥 🔥
one of the best movies ever made!
There are lots of hidden truths in this film that need to be brought out into the light. My favourite quote is... " Be the body, not the shadow"
this was iconic!!! I love this scene!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes it was!!
This was 1 of my favorite scenes in the movie. “Nights Over Egypt “ is a classic! ❤️💯
The song is already legendary and the scene is a soon classic!! #ptvgfx
This was such a great movie
This dance needs to be longer. And that kiss.
Yea a classic moment!! #ptvgfx
@@BENNIFRANX100 Lucky Girl! hahahaha
I had to find this song soon as film was over 🔥
Lol.. I feel you, I was the same exact way!
A couple of more scenes like this and you would have had a hell of a movie. No doubt!
It is still a hell of a movie❤
soul of the egptian lover
Never seen this movie, but I love this song, so I will watch this movie 😂
Give it a watch....in my opinion it's a great movie...you'll love it.
A must go see film!
I LOVE THIS DANCE 💃🏻 SCENE♥️♥️
I Gotta See This Movie♥️💫✨
I hope so it's really a good film!
@@BENNIFRANX100 ✨♥️💫
I saw it twice and will see it again
Yea it will be on Netflix soon!!
1:48-1:59 That editing effect is fucking amazing. I love this director. Hes talented as fuck☺️🍷🔥🔥🔥
Man this was sick they so smooth and sexy the soundtrack for this music was number 1 I loved this movie and I must say these some of the sexiest black men in the business
🙌
We got robbed again by own people by the industry who tries to tell us how to depict ourselves and our own history we were not always gangsters rappers successful entrepreneurs getting over on each other and playing games we were a people at one time
We still are.
Well said. We must always remember who we are.
Ya dig!!! 💪🏾
I love this and the entire movie, as a Librarian I bought it and the students see the symbolism.
🖤 🖤 🖤
This might be my favorite scene from the whole movie!
definitely unexpected & such a great scene
Just beautiful, visually and musically. The actor playing the stringed instrument cracked me up. He was doing his best to make us believe what he was doing with his little instrument was part of the amazing sound we were hearing. Still waiting on someone to explore Nubian palace intrigue on the big screen. This gives me hope that maybe one day someone will. If any of my ventures come to fruition the way I want, I'll pay Jeymes Samuel to do it myself 😉
😆 🤣
The Jones Girls!! And thanks to Cynthia Biggs and Dexter Wansel who wrote and arranged it!!!!
💯 💯 💯
When I came out the movie I was crying I was disappointed that Spike Lee Tyler Perry and the rest of them did not come out this movie the way it was supposed to be and it was our people and it was our thing
🙌
I need to see this one again some things I liked and some things I found problematic given it was produce by Jay-Z out of all the people in the world WHY did the director asked him to fund it and WHY🧐🤔
Maybe it's wasn't from the Holy Spirit and sadly it just felt like a cash grab for black people that want to see ourselves portrayed in ways that we should be seen. But no you get a weird person and a controversial rapper producing you bound to be in hot water.
@@Thespeedrap- I'm so glad he did - it was clever and genius and word of mouth is going to send this film over the top! where it absolutely should be - gonna watch it again!
@@Thespeedrap I disagree - it absolutely got the message through in a new and creative and uplifting way that went straight to the heart - from Doubting Thomas to how we got White Jesus! - There were so many great ideals that were addresses in this movie and in a very new way -
DOPEST DANCE SCENE!!!!✊🏾✊🏾
A classic!!! #ptvgfx
This tune is over 50 years old. The Jones Girls. Dexter Wansel wrote it. About ti.e that tune got heard.
Once I needed a pencil and paper to calculate my age, I went into age-aint-nothin'-but-a-number mode. Somebody find out, and please tell me this song is not over 50 years old. That would make me like XXX years old!
This song is still 🔥 🔥 🔥 ... a timeless, modern classic.
No. Nights Over Egypt by The Jones Girls is 41 years old. I've got all of their albums, and It was released in 1981.
This movie is epic
Absolutely!!
I heard this the first time I saw the movie and it's interesting.
Yea this song is a classic!!
One of my hall of fames tunes… and they did a perfect job with it. Bless up all those involved and those who received it
Mine as well movie & song!

The Black Land!!
THIS IS MY FAV JONES GIRLSS SONG....YESSS!!
💯
A classic!!
One Love Motherland 🌍 ETHIOPIA
Respect 🙌
You not thinking in the context of the movie and the theme it’s putting across ….. it’s like when you jam old school music from a the old days…. They are remembering a the old days in the ancient land when people that looked like them ruled that land …. Remember “Thou shalt not abhor an Egyptian; for thou wast a stranger in his land”
Great scene 😂
Rite!!
I saw this at the weekend. Fab fab fsb
Absolutely, definitely has replay value!
Beautiful song 🎵
YEP!!!
Rite!
🙌
Anna Diop needs to play Storm in the next X-Men movie . But onto this great movie ... Loved it !
Hmmm not a bad choice.. She played in D.C comics Titans, and did a good job
Anna Diop is so beautiful
Yes she is!!
She is Drop dead gorgeous
Oh my god I just realized she's Star Fire from Teen Titans 😍🔥🍷
@@I-own-2-dogs-now92 Yea that's my shit, she does a good job n that show
@@BENNIFRANX100FUCK YES🔥Tho I hated the series. But my god hadn't Anna Diop was in that show I would've gave up watching it along time ago. She's a goddess 😍🔥
This song is forever ❤❤❤❤❤
Absolutely!!!
Wow love it
Favorite scene. We the people of the book fasho (Ezekiel 16:10-14).
The algorithm...
4sure!!
Glad to be here. Thanks algorithm 🙏🏾
Esta escena moolaa😊
Absolutamente!!!
Anna Diop would be perfect as Ororo Munroe in a Marvel movie. Im not a fan of the team up superhero movies. I just hope Disney gives her own movie. Wakanda exist in that movie universe and her man was a ruler over that country. RIP Chadwick Boseman 😢They can easily tell her story through her films. Screw an X-Men movie. They'll give her a small screen time or cut her from the film if they do a team up movie. I want a Storm movie 🍿 ⚡
Exactly!

This was the only thing I liked about the movie. Other than that it was outrageous and insulting to me about the Bible.
What a wonderful film. Might I ask what outrageous & insulting???
How was it in anyway insulting lol? As a religious doubter, funny enough the movie made me appreciate the story behind Christ.
@@BENNIFRANX100The guy thought he was better than Jesus Christ.
@@ThespeedrapMaybe you have to watch the movie again, because that was not the message
I didn't like the ending and I can tell it was Jay-Z thinking he's better than Jesus that's what I saw.
