Long-time Philly jazz staple refuses to sell to developers

The New Barber's Hall has been a black-owned North Philly club and jazz venue since 1949, hosting the likes of John Coltrane, Miles Davis, Issac Hayes, Patti LaBelle, and many more. The owner has been offered $3.2M because of its prime location by Temple University's campus in North Philadelphia.
