The apparent reason why pythor looks diferent is because when he was created the creators didnt have in mind the how the anacondrai race might look since they had only created pythor but when the flashbacks of the snake war came to be they made them with short necks dont know why they just make them with long like pythor but who knows

In the end he did have his tribe's staff after all, so that would logically make him have the staff's general transformation. As each anacondri trapped in the tomb would eventually fight and eat each other, as we know. With the staff in there as well the only thing that'd make sense is the last one standing, gets the staff and becomes general. As we see with the hypnobri. I think the reason Pythor is different is because he is the biological general, however the 5 "leaders" took it upon themselves to be the tribe's miliarial generals and pushed Pythor to the sidelines, him keeping his general form despite being called or acknowledged as a lower serpentine. Also his white scales were due to him being bleached by the Devourer's stomach acids, the coloration would have nothing to do with how the fangpyres have white scales. So him being white and how fangpyres have white in them would have no connection at all.
But with the hipnopari the tail is given to who even is declared general not who holds the staff as we see other hipnopari hold the staff and not having a tail and it’s past though who’s the general not biologically

I 100% agree, and I totally would have thought he was half Anacondrai, but it has been confirmed that he's half Hypnobrai and half Venomari in "The Splinter in the Blind Man's Eye" Chapter 12. However, that is technically a fan book by the creator of Ninjago, so maybe it could get retconned and they'll change it so Clancee is part Anacondrai.

I've also always wondered how come all the other Serpentine tribes didn't starve - the Anacondrai were apparently the worst in the war, so maybe the humans gave the other tribes food but not the Anacondrai? It's also possible small animals could get into the other Serpentine tombs and maybe plants grew in there, but the Anacondrai tomb was in the desert, so nothing could grow and not much could get in. However, maybe all Serpentine are just able to survive a really long time without food (especially since snakes irl have brumation), but maybe the Anacondrai just decided to fight/eat other even if they didn't really need to.
About them starving to the point that they ate each other actually according to a story we hear in season 3 which tells that the snakes are who isolated themselves as some kind of protection from the Dark master, Wouldn't be a really stupid move if the anacondria Isolated themselves in a place without food growing and regrowing.

I think it would have made more sense if clancee was half venomari and half anacondrai because he has the light green skin of a venomari and his model is an anacondrai model instead of a hypnobrai at least pythor has some features of anacondrai and one feature of a fangpyre
I think there are two reasons 1) there was no basic anacondrai model when they designed pythor 2) since pythor was the main villain of the first season he had to look more threatening than the other snakes
It was confirmed that pythor was a mutation. Also pythor was never a general to begin with. Reason I say this was because former showrunner Tommy Andreason confirmed that it was possible pythor was an outcast towards the other anacondrai.

Actually, the Anacondrai are unique in that they ALL have tails, even the low-ranking ones. There hasn't been a single Anacondrai with legs :O
