I really want to share this suggestion. The sabotage twist should have stated that Kelli had to participate in the immunity challenge AND that the tribe loses. This way she at least has to do something.
Nah man, the tribe should have to choose someone they can trust to do the job. They didn't this time and it bit them. She couldn't make it any more clear to them that sending her would not work out for them.
I agree with Abraham. They had a silent assassin with a special tool and the social/strategic acumen to get information and create division on the other tribe.
But he was a threat so they chose the non threat that flips when she feels like it. Further, she didn't understand the mission, was a weak challenge performer, and didn't have much understanding of strategy or alliances.
The Titans would have been dumb to let Kelli perform in the challenge. Also the rebels might have won the challenge because they sent Kelli.
The twist felt like a last minute production twist to save Kirby from a blindside. I know I sound like a conspiracy theorist but it seems everytime there's a big character about to go there's a twist to save them.
The twist this week saved Feras and his alliance and the other twist saved Mark.
It feels like the producers REALLY want the rivalries to continue in this game and are willing to throw a lifeline here or there to prevent a big character going too soon.
I know I sound like a conspiracy theorist, but the vibe is off.
I also say it felt last minute because the rules and incentives of the saboteur twist felt extremely unclear. Jonathan kept spelling out the "mission" but really...the tribe is going to send someone who's kind of on the chopping block but not a threat over to the other tribe and that tribe member is supposed to upset the other tribe by throwing a challenge only to get exposed after the fact? So now you not only have a tribe that considers you discardable but now you've annoyed the other tribe? It just doesn't make sense.
I like Feras a lot but he started the game citing George and there's NO WAY George would've let Garrick go home there, so hopefully he finds his balls, backs *his* side (though he might have to curl up meekly to survive for a bit if he isn't out next chance Kirby gets) & can push on, cos sans another random swap he might not be long for this now, implicit immunity or not.
Also, random aside but the dynamic between Rob and Shannon is honestly always just FANTASTIC.
this season is SO GOOD that it makes me less and less excited for 46 for some reason. It just can’t be as good as this.
Y'all got any more of them Australian Survivor podcasts?
Rob, your pokemon joke didn't fall flat to those of us watching 😆
Kelli was allowed to tell about the twist, JLP asked her when she was leaving “anything else you want to share with the tribe before leaving?” I think the production would even have preferred that she revealed the twist to the Titans. IMHO
Garrick smelled that rat so hard it knocked him right outta the game
It'd be funny if these Kelli t-shirts are quotes she *thought* would air, but most don't.
great podcast with Shannon when it's under 2 hours :p jokes aside, they have the wrong logo at the top ;)
I loved Mark’s Angels. I hated seeing the V’s torn up. And seeing Viola go!!! Dang . Mark reminds me of Varys from Game of thrones. And Eden is either Little Finger or Tyrion.
Hayley on the podcast next week. OMG WE WON
Did we not do chissy points this week?
They happened with Omar and Zach in a different podcast.
