Inductor-recorded sound of Valmet-Strömberg-built Helsinki Metro M100-series unit 154.
4 SCR-VVVF (Strömberg Asyncronous Motor Inverter = SAMI) controlled AC motors per car, type Strömberg HXUR 505G2, 125 kW each. The first VVVF train series in the world.
Built in 1982, refurbished in 2021.

I had the microphone on the window, in the middle of the car (furthest from the doors) between the axles. I'm currently making a MoHa-radio for a new recording of the whole fleet 😎
