Nice video. Don't normally fit vaillant filters. Think made by spirotec 🤔 Only issue I'd have is adding inhibitor then adjusting once vented. Surely going to lose inhibitor and you can't get much in there anyway? Maybe once had a couple of inhibitors not an issue. Thanks again 👌
I have just had by new boiler and filter however my filter got a magnet outside and the bowl points downward any views on adding chemicals when cleaning
Our Ideal boiler was replaced with a GloWorm which came with this filter and valve but the fitter did not fit the valve so I cant see how to isolate it. I asked him about this and he said it could be isolated but could not say how. Probably have to drain the whole system!
You can turn off both flow and return valves on boiler. You'll need to attach a brass garden tap connector so water dose not spit everywhere. Once pressure released, then you can carry on as Mark showed you. You could always fit a valve if capable.👌
Vaillant, not Vailliant. Awful design by Vaillant/Glow Worm. No easy way to top up any cleaner or inhibitor in any decent amount as there is such a small hole to fill the canister and you'll be there for ages. Thank you for the video to help others.

Yes. You can only use the injectable inhibitors
