- Talk's Mike Graham is joined by chairman of Reform UK Richard Tice who says Reform UK overtaking Conservatives in a major opinion poll is an example of "the people's revolt".
A YouGov survey commissioned by the Times newspaper had Nigel Farage’s party at 19% to the Conservatives 18% in voting intention, in a crossover moment which is the latest blow to Tory hopes of returning to government.
Mr Farage hailed the poll, claiming his party were now the “opposition to Labour”, while in Italy the Prime Minister said he was not feeling dejected about his prospects in the election and would be “back on the campaign trail” as soon as he returned from the G7 summit.

Labour have already won this election. This is now about who comes second and forms the official opposition.
That would probably take a miracle but give it your best shot. Becoming the official opposition would be a fantastic achievement. In Canada the Reform Party replaced the Tories and then absorbed what was left of them. The new party is actually conservative. The old Tories were no different than the Liberal Party. It is possible to replace one of your two main parties. Good Luck!

Canada has the same first past the post system. It can stop you from getting seats if you only have 5% of the vote. It should not stop the party with the second most votes from getting a lot of seats. It could give them fewer seats than the party that had the third most votes but it should not be far behind. It is really important for Reform supporters to get out and vote and get their friends and family to vote. Reform is probably near the tipping point where they will get a lot of seats if they get a few more percent of the votes.

From whom? Reform want an Australian pension system, more private health insurance, and tax cuts for the already wealthy. Where are the policies for you and your family, the NHS (us the people) needs doctors and other healthcare to ensure the continuation of healthcare in our country, we need more staff in our care sector. The only way we can have these is by paying more and taking into our country people to work for us. My wife broke her arm, she was treated by professionals who had Asian heritage, all of them are necessary for the continuation of our healthcare. Some of the private healthcare sector employ doctors from an agency in Nigeria as they are cheaper to employ. Is that what you want?

My family are all NHS or retired NHS staff. Funding isn’t the issue. It’s the demand for the service, which in turn causes work related stress on staff that took YEARS to train. They quit. So the demand to available resource ratio shifts way out of kilter. That’s your issue with the NHS.
It’s a sinkhole, no matter how much money labour throw at it, it still takes years to train new staff. And without tackling the many issues that come from uncontrolled immigration and health tourism, you will break the NHS regardless.
The whole system needs total overhaul.

There's not a single Government over the last 50 years that didn't want to scrap the NHS and replace it with something more efficient, but none of them wanted their legacy to be that of the Party who ended the NHS. So instead, they've all kept pouring money into a top heavy inefficient sinkhole that's being rinsed out by all and sundry. It's not funding that's the problem, it's the entire system needs replacing.
The Irony of course is the KIDS are the ones most likely to vote Labour in, because they've been indoctrinated into socialism by teachers and professors, and have zero life experience. They have no idea that Labour, Socialism, Marxism, more than anything, will rob them of their future.
Please don’t stay at home or ruin your paper, this is the most important election ever, if your fed up with the two main parties now is your chance to be brave and do something for our country and get Nigel into parliament and as many members of Reform UK in. There is a feeling of optimism in the air but we need to put them in. Do it.

I would like our children to be taught the normal maths and english but also our culture, religion and our past and not just by denigration either. At the 80th DDay celebration no child I asked had ever heard of it and knew nothing about how our people faught and died to save, not just us, but the world.
