Love that design of the bed over the dinette. Very flexible and frees up a lot of floor space. In theory the bed area at the back could be utilised for something else.

Absolute dream rig! I've been daydreaming about one of these for the last month. I lived in an Airstream with a 30 gallon water tank for a year, and the 135 gallon water tank in the Patagonia would be a game changer. That was my least favorite thing-- having to drive into town from a BLM site just to fill up on water and propane. Nice review of a gorgeous rig. It’s so well laid out and designed. Can’t even imagine what it must be like to camp out out in one of these. When I win th3 lottery it’ll be on my list! 🤣
I wish Taxa would create something like this in the Mitsubishi or Isuzu CoE chassis that's available here in the US. Maybe they can bring down the cost of other manufacturers.
Very nice but a cassette toilet for a truck like this is a shame. The truck is big enough to install a Cinderella Incineration toilet, a Norwegian brand. That burns the waste so you just need to emty the sterile ashes every 4-6 weeks and no use of water😊 Great review 👌
With that departure angle, break over or ramp angle and with all that weight, that is NOT a go anywhere or expedition vehicle. Good luck to turn around on single track mountain roads. The vehicle itself is not build thought enough for serious off road. That is a nice build for gravel roads and occasionally light off road to that nice camping spot.
I really like it... a lot! But... and it's a small but... but it drives me frickin crazy when manufactures install the shade and bug screens upside down. The shade should come up from the bottom and the screen should come down from the top. Rant over. Lol
With the shade coming down from the top, you can adjust the shade to cover the sun as it's coming up / going down and still get some sunlight coming through - hence why they are designed like that.
@@Weretherussos But if you like walking around inside your rig partially dressed, then the shade on the bottom helps keep prying eyes looking up and in while I can look down and out by adjusting the bottom shade for the level of privacy I want. You can't do that as well with the shade on top.

I like the option for more sleeping with the bunk but the chassis is a single cab so are there additional seat belts at the dining area? If not I see that has a miss for families with more than two people.
Do you guys know why it's so expensive? Because GXV is the only class 6 & above 'CUSTOM' builder in the US. When demand is low, the price naturally goes up. That's the fact. However, compared to European cabins, the quality of the interior is a bit inferior. I'd rather ship my chassis to Europe, build there, and bring it back.
