Credit Due: Releasing this for the holiday is an awesome touch! I have time off work to play with this. Most companies don't pay attention to these things. It is super cool that you did. ❤
I have an Apple M4 Tablet and it is the WORST PIECE OF GARBAGE I have ever used. I got it for Resolve and Final cut but as a daily driver it is unusable. My fave is my Samsing S9 ultra Tab. So easy. Massive storage. 30% cheaper - at least. Wide screen. Easy data transfer between end points - Apple is an absolute nightmare. Screen recording and using the "pen" while recording is a dream. Apple screen Recording is laughable. THE DREAM is an advanced Lumafusion that is FULLY USEABLE and not deliberately cut down so I move fully to a powerful tablet.🎉🎉🎉 Yes, the M4 chip in Apple is amazing. But the 0.S and the basic operation is an absolute joke. Apple users are the absolute dumbest saps who will accept anything Tim Apple throws at them. 🎉🎉🎉 AND... the Samsung pen to text is amazing! Apple is ... again... an absolute joke. How the hell does a trillion dollar company get away with this? 🎉🎉🎉 Please Lumafusion ... I'll send the cash, take a risk, crowd fund non get us a fully operational lumafusion with advanced features including transcript, background removal, and voice isolation. If voice isolation is all you can give me, I'll take it.
That's good to know, thank you. We continue to work full-steam ahead to bring LumaFusion 2.0 for Android closer to feature parity with the iOS version, and we listen closely to this kind of feedback. Thanks for using LumaFusion, thank you for your patience, and happy editing!
This is awesome. Thank you so much. I'm loving this update. Also, it's $11. What a steal for the newest features. What a steal. Thank you so much luma touch great work as always
Hi there, thank you for your comment. If you’re not sure as to whether Speed Ramping is right for you and your projects long-term, we encourage you to try out this feature in the Creator Pass, along with many of our other enhanced features.
Speed Ramping also includes Keyframe Easing and Bézier curves, and additional key framing features. The one-time purchase of both the LumaFusion App and the additional features mean they are yours for life and you won't pay again. Every app has their own structure for pricing, so they don't always line up feature by feature, but if you look at the entire package LumaFusion provides, I think you will find our pricing is fair.
@@LumaTouch A more pressing issue is exports on Android results in washed out colors. This just makes all exports unusable. I'm confirmed on rec.709 color space, but the exports look nothing like the preview window during editing. I'm on a ZFold5 and confirmed on reddit it's happening with a Zfold6 user as well.
Hi there, at present that feature is only available on the iOS version. We leveraged a built-in capability in the iOS system to build our effect around, and this is not (yet) present in the Android ecosystem. We are working with Google to get us closer to being able to implement this for Android editors. Thanks for your patience.
The Speed Ramping & Enhanced Keyframing toolset is available for purchase (one-time, in-app) or as part of the Creator Pass, all-in subscription, which bundles it with Storyblocks for LumaFusion, the huge royalty free video/music/SFX library. Thank you for your interest.
If you have updated to version 2.0 on the Android device, and you aren't seeing described ability to adjust track height, please get ahold of our Support team: lumatouch.co/support (tap 'email Support'). Thanks!
Hi there, and thanks for the feedback. The Android team is working toward a stabilizer that's good enough for our editors. As to the difference in feature sets, we get it--the iOS version is much more mature, having been in the market for more than 10 years, whereas the Android version was just released two years ago, and the huge variety of devices running Android (and the huge range of device capabilities) makes for an extra layer of challenge. The Android team is working full speed to get us closer to feature parity between the versions. Until we meet that goal, we will continue working diligently to create and refine what we humbly think is the best mobile video edit solution for Android/Chrome users. Thanks for using LumaFusion and Happy editing.
@LumaTouch Something like Adobe Fresco or Procreate where we can add (onion) layers to create animations! :) Or load a existing video and break it down into frames to reference
@simonk.9126 I have the same problem, paid to unlock the new features but the features won't unlock. I would advise people not to pay for these features as long as this bug exists.
If you continue to have trouble, please get ahold of our Support team, who'll be happy to help you get to the bottom of the trouble: lumatouch.co/support (tap 'email Support'). Thank you for your support, and happy editing!
Hey Luma team! On foldable phone(pixel 9 fold) the "bin" delete selected video is colading with interface button, therefore can't even use it. Which means we cannot edit video, can you fix this please?
Just talked to developers and they have written an issue to fix. In the meantime they suggest to try to unfold and rotate your device to regular smartphone, and/or restart the app after folding. But in any case they will fix.
@@LumaTouch you guys are amazing! Can we have also an option to add in that tool bar play/pause button or option to enable tapping on the timeline empty space once to play or pause. This will enable quick editing and most people cut a bit and then play to check the sound cut or how it all blends. At the moment is quite inconvenient to reach the play/pause . I don't edit videos much anymore, but I purchased all features on Android just to support your amazing work!
This is awesome--thanks so much! I'll log this request to the attention of our developers, for possible inclusion in a future release. Feedback like this is gold to us.
@@LumaTouch i think this feature will make a lot of sense on mobile phone and foldables. On tablet for instance I always had the keyboard so I could press space for that. But on a small format when you hold with two hands could be really useful for speed cutting . And even tablet too! Not very much into technicallyty of it, but does not seem like it would be something hard to implement either, correct me if I am wrong. (Button or tap empty space on timeline)
Since you are charging now not only for the app but also for individual features like speed ramp I think we should deserve more for our money. Could you please add ability to choose higher Mbps for 4k video output as at 150Mbps there is quality loss. We would need at least 160Mbps - 180Mbps to retain quality especially if the source video is from mobile phone. Also could we please have noise reduction.
Thanks for the feedback. LumaFusion, the app, is a one-time purchase. When we develop new features based on customer demand, we understand not everyone will want them, but they still cost money to develop. So rather than raise the price of the app for everyone, we make them optional add-ons. If you find them of value, we're glad they're there for you to use. With regard to bitrates, we hear you. We are somewhat limited in what bitrate video we can export, because of the huge range of capabilities of the devices in the Android world. We want to make an edit experience that will be pleasant for everyone. Noise reduction is certainly on our wishlist. Thanks for using LumaFusion.
@LumaTouch thank you for a quick reply. I would appreciate if an option for higher output bitrates would be added and it would be up to user's needs whether he/she would prefer to select those higher bitrates even if it would mean higher file sizes. I don't think that increasing by 20-30Mbps would impact rendering times as app would need to use lower compression.
I will note this feature request to our developers' attention. Out of curiosity where are you publishing that you need bitrates faster than 150Mbps? (I ask not because we question the need, but because it's good to know our editors' use cases.)
@@LumaTouch I've done extensive testing in Davinci Resolve comparing output of where the phone footage seems to have the best retained quality versus the file size. If you do comparison of the file with 150Mbps bitrate versus 180Mbps and crop in for comparison you'll see visible difference in the quality on a 4k video output. Even if it means slightly larger file size it is definitely worth it as it gives better quality. As for for publishing videos Vimeo retains best quality whilst UA-cam compresses files a lot but what matters is the actual file that is being uploaded. If it has low bitrate to start with then when uploaded there will be no quality left. In any case I edit videos most for my personal use (family videos, trips, etc.) and want to retain as much quality as possible in the output videos. By the way I shoot 4k videos at 240Mbps in order to retain best quality. I know 240Mbps is an overkill as quality between 200Mbps to 240Mbps is negligible.
@@LumaTouch you need to slow down the ios version development and focus more on android because the price is the same so it shouldn't be lacking features like this i know your company has small team but please consider us android users too

@LumaTouch of course, thank you for a great quality app.
Thanks for the awesome features. The next thing we need is multi cam support like you have on ipados. That will be a game changer.
We are waiting for Google to make some changes to the platform that will allow us to make a good Multicam feature.
I think you should offer a speed ramping feature at a reduced price. While other apps offered so many advanced features for free or at reduced price.

Yes, but 18 euros is not that much. I'm on a fixed income and I've bought the update without a problem in my budget.
Thanks a lot. Finally, the update has come for Android. We Android users are very happy 😊 ❤❤
