Try identifying the engine block casting(s), I think you will find the engine types out number the range of cars on offer in this video. Cortina ( mk1 ), Corsair ( which took over Zephyr's niche ), Anglia, Zephyr & Zodiac ( mk4 ). The V4 spotted, I think you will find was used both on Corsair briefly, then used simultaneously with the smaller capacity transit, the 3L transit in mk1 form had that "nose-job" for the radiator. Half a world away in australia ( the transit 77-82 ) they used the falcon engine 200ci & 250ci along with the tc-tf cortina's ( uk mk3 - mk5 ), can't help sharing a little ford history from down under.😎👌👍 The V6 transit engine was shared the zodiac in uk, but went On, to power 3L Capri, I think.👌👍👍
Interesting slice of car history - must have been made in 1966 as that was the first year Mk. IV Zephyrs and Zodiacs were made and the last year of Mark I Cortinas - Anglias and Corsairs feature too !
Did you see the V4 block moving on the conveyor, thats Mk1 smaller capacity transit engine, it may have been used in the Corsair, the Ford buffs will confirm, spent more time with Vauxhall product. The Transit wasn't seen here, the anglia, corsair, zephyr & zodiac ( mk4 ) were all seen here, was there anything I missed ? A true time capsule of Ford products & processes, thanks & take care. 😎👌👍
thanks great vid !
Great little video 👍 Zephyr / Zodiac, Anglia, Corsair and Mark one Cortina. Thanks for posting this 👍 on now to part two 😊

After that type of treatment and they still rusted. I don't think there was 1 model I did not have to do welding on
