Hello, Sam ! Wow - that's quite a bougie collection you have there ! Rakeem from detailed dream has a good idea, if you use a candle top down warmer. You can burn the candle as usual, but if it starts to tunnel, use the candle warmer to "even things out". Rekeem recommends flame burning 4 or 5 times , then use the candle burner for the fifth time. That way, a "fresh" top layer of wax stays fragrant . Otherwise, if you just use only the candle burner, the fragrance will eventually cook out , as it is not burned off. Some folks pour off the top "spent" layer. ( I have no interest in doing that ! ) It's a good system to get the maximum out of our expensive candles. A decent one costs around $30. A good investment, I think. Ciao, Bella! Paul
Forget gifts for others , I'll gift these to myself. They can get Yankee candles instead 😂 I've not tried any of these , but tiziana terenzi do amazing candles. You should check them out and frederic malles candles are exceptional too 👌
Haha, I like that... I like the smell of Malles candles, haven't bought one. I haven't come acoss Tiziana Terenzi's candles yet, but I will definitely try them when I do! Thanks for watching 🌹Xo Sam
I love your in depth review of these candles. I'm in the process of creating my luxury black female owned candle company and would love it if you were to do a review of them😁
I waited for this one 🥰 the minty Cire Trudon is on my wish list for years now, Dyptique Noisetier is hands down my most purchased one and yes to both Muji scented candles, they smell a lot better than you would think
Oh you deserve the Cire Trudon, you've been good this year! Noisetier is lovely... there isn't a Diptyque candle I don't like. I know, right? Muji all the way. Thanks so much for watching darling 🌹Xo Sam
I absolutely adore you. I just purchased two Diptyque candles and I'm on a luxury candle video spiral and you are by far the best person I've watched. You describe each candle perfectly and not only that but your voice is so soothing. Definitely subscribing.
My problem with candles are, they smell so good before you light them, then once you get them home and light them, you can't smell anything. That has been my experience, maybe I should try a different candle
I think you need to try different candles then, because these ones are powerful. Unless your nose easily gets tired of the smell, then I can't help you 😄🌹Xo Sam
What a fantastic video. Thank you so much! I am definitely going to check out Prosody London especially the travel set with candle. I have chemical sensitivities so had to scale back on all my conventional candles and fragrances but the natural perfumery market is booming, so I am on that journey. Thanks again.
HI Sam. I enjoyed your clip although I'm not really well up on candles or anything like that. It could be something I might look into next year, and I enjoyed your presentation and your choices. Thank you for taking the time to create a very interesting video. x
Thanks a lot for your kind words. I think it just adds a bit of calm and luxury to your daily life lighting a scented candle. Thanks for watching 🌹Xo Sam
Have you heard about candle warmers? They melt the wax of the candle which allows you to enjoy the fragrance without burning it! Saved me so much money as you don’t need to purchase the same scented candle twice! X
Hey lady How are you doing, I know this video was done awhile ago, hwvr, I'm interested in the Penhaligon's candles, just wanted to know what the wax was made of
I like the sound of Bibliotheque, although it probably already smells like my office. 🤭 📚 But yeah...that Roja reindeer candle sounds amaaaaazing. Chocolate all NIGHT.
Lovely Video ! Were you aware that Cire Trudon has ventured into the 'world of fragrance'...??? (pun intended) I have a couple and they're quite nice. I may have to investigate scented candles thanks to your influence. At any rate, I've enjoyed your content. Continued Success and Happy Holidays to you. ( should that happen to be part of your practice ) Honors and Respects...
Thank you! I wasn't aware of that actually... I will have to hunt them down. The candles are second to none. Thanks for your kind words, may you enjoy your holidays too. 🌹Xo Sam
Yes Ma'am. I sent you a pair of photos of the Trudon's I currently own. I'm sampling a 3rd called "Revolution" which smells promising. Should opportunity avail itself to you to smell them, I trust you'll share your opinion(s) of them with your steadily increasing audience. Respects ~ Mosiah
Aveda candles aren't bad either....pseudo natural selling and 55 CAD (45 USD?) I used to own both Diptyque and Arquiste and have enjoyed them, but they are very expensive long term...but tend to burn through my candles quickly because i'm constantly trying to mitigate the wax tunnelling effect. Arquite definitely gets a nod for putting in a bit more creativity into their candle scent profiles.
Oh I should try Aveda, thanks! It is definitely a luxury splurging on candles... there are of course other cheaper products one could use to scent one's home. But that wouldn't be as fun to talk about 🙂. Thanks for watching!🌹Xo Sam
Something wrong with people who buy the high end candles I always laugh at the crazy prices the high end store charges You are paying for the tacky package Very very bad for your health too The people who buy these over priced candle have more money that sense

Ah yes, great tip! Where did you get yours from? Xo Sam
My World of Fragrance amazon ! It’s actually under coffee mug warmer by Yurnero, but is perfectly safe for candles and melting wax! :)
@@May-uh3mi Oh cool, thank you! Xo
Hey lady

Hi there, It doesn't say, which means it's probably just generic wax 🌹Xo Sam
You’re awesome!
Thank you I’ve discovered a few I will purchase.
Happy to hear that! Thanks for watching 🌹Xo Sam

Your office must smell wonderful then. The Roja candle is delicious. But then again you are paying an arm for it. 🌹Xo Sam
@@MyWorldofFragrance But I only have one arm left! 😭😭😭😂 Sorry, one left arm.
@@justaddlight It would be for a good cause 😀👯
What is the throw on the arquiste candle? I've been eyeing dark gallion
Hi there! The Arquiste I own is on the subtle side - I love the scent, but I'd say the throw is 3/5. Hope that helps.🌹Xo Sam
Hi! This is the first video i have seen from you and I find it very informative, I subscribed 👍😃.
