Thank you for the content. Best substantive coverage of the Giants in podcast sphere. Although I have to say I have found myself rooting hard for all the 2 and 3 win teams the past three weeks. Don’t want to see the Giants lose. Definitely want the others to win out.
you are not alone my friend. a gd friend of mine is a raider fan n we really argue over who sucks the most n what team deserves the num1 pick. yea i kno sad but what else r we suppose to look foward 2? oh yeah the knicks baby!!!!!
It's unreal, watching Lock you would think that there was nobody open. Thanks for watching this shit show of an offense and giving us an honest view of what's happening.
I'd like to see more of Bellinger & Hodgins, a little less of Wan'dale (role-player) and Nabers from the slot on occasion. Also, clean Z-routes after post set-up. Very effective.
You guys always do great work in breaking down the game and the players efforts as well as How Daboll is fairing under an absolute train wreck of a Season there plenty of blame as well First off is this the most unlucky team you have ever seen uncanny amount of injuries as well but the thing that Mara said about Barkley going to Philthy and seemingly being fitted with a yellow jacket the face of the franchise and we get nothing in return ? Unless he already gave them another year but looking at Daboll Dead man walking !
Always enjoy the show, guys. I just want to say I'd like to keep Dabs, its just the continuous penalties. That's a sign of poor coaching. I have a hard time getting past that.
Bellinger will finally get a chance now that Theo is hurt. He had 5rec on 7tgt 45yds. Hopefully, same but with TD in this weeks dumpster fire. I dont know why they had to give all TE reps to Johnson. Especially in start of year when Johnson sucked.
Talking about Lock at the beginning, Dan said something along the lines of "maybe he got into the system in seattle and felt comfortable, but he hasn't gotten into it here". Daboll/Schoen were previously criticized for having Lock be the backup plan but then starting Devito, I definitely agree the premium you pay for Tyrod/Jameis is totally worth it, but seeing Lock on the field now, does that maybe give them some more credence than previously given to starting Devito over Lock before? I don't want to forgive them if their goal was to win games, but I don't know if the total shit they got is as justified.
So we can agree that Daboll is a good offensive play-caller. I'm not sure it follows that therefore he should be HC after this season. He is on a long of coaches who struggle to translate success on one side of the ball to leading the entire team.
Dan - did you discuss Lock's efficacy outside the numbers? Would you like me to explain what that means? Did you examine the film or just sit there in a dull stupor?
I feel this happens alot of weeks. Im not saying that Daboll should be absolved from all criticism, but running an offense feels like the least of our worries. I dont know if its complex, hard to understand, or the oline; but these QBs in his system with the Giants dont get it. However, when we go back to the tape, there are SOOOO many WIDE OPEN receivers. It hurts to see cause looking at the tape of these receivers open every week makes me feel bad for Daboll that everyone wants his head...
Daboll and Schoen are hopefully safe, since Mara signed off on them rebuilding the team and is allowing them to scout QBs. Mara needs to stay the course and not give any fucks about the irrational and unreasonable portion of the fanbase. We all wanted the rebuild, no choice but to man up and stomach it. The worst of it is coming to an end.
Dan wouldn't know a football if it hit him in the face. Did he mention that Lock's first 4 passes were dropped, and Slayton failed to stay in bounds on a thirty 30-yard sideline pass?
I still think Daboll and Schoen need to go. We need to get a strong combo of GM/HC like the strong teams in the league have to generate long-term success.
Do you guys feel like the more reps lock gets, the more comfortable he'll get at reading the field ? Does that Oline also have something to do with him bailing? Also, is it fair to judge him without AT and Jermaine?
I was thinking the same thing…I would rather give him some time to see if he can develop for next season ( back up or bridge??) since he has the arm. Tommy Culets isn’t a back up starter-ever.
The more this season of a dumpster fire continues the more I blame Schoen over Daboll. The bad decisions by Schoen are what got Giants in this situation. Letting young talent walk, Burns deal, Oline still a disaster, poor drafts. Daboll needs to handle himself better with his relationships amongst the staff though. And after last year with Wink and Kafka situation I’m not sure a lot of people want to work with him. I’m sure Mara is embarrassed. Not sure they both survive or deserve to survive.
Burns has gotten better with each week, fuck you smoking? Runyan and Eluemunor were great additions, even Van Roten was solid before the injuries set in. Daboll stopped Wink from mutineering his team and he and his boys aren’t even in the NFL anymore. Kafka and Bowen will probably be fired. Schoen and Daboll should be allowed to continue the rebuild with their QB.
Did Dan discuss Lock's use of TE Dan Bellinger to extend drives imperiled by penalties. Dan... meet football. Football... meet Dan. Get to know each other & attempt to think before you speak.

I don't know.. I know the current situation is untenable, and, like Nick said, Daboll's "CEO" aspect has been unacceptable, but if you see the tape, Daboll concepts work. Many opportunities, many we as fans see, Daboll sees, that's all his outbursts. 22 DJ, 23 Tyrod, he's successful.. Daboll's downfall is that he created successfullness with DJ in 22 and it threw the whole rebuild, and expectations, in a flux, we lost our way on a rebuild. One more yr with Daboll and Schoen, there's no upside with anyone else that's as close for 25
Yup, the grass is not green on the other side. It’s full of retreads and in-house promotions. Fans just need to stop and THINK about this. Belichick? Cooked. Vrabel? Hasn’t done squat since 2019. Gruden? More cooked than Belichick. Kingsbury and Flores? Great coordinators, terrible head coaches. Johnson and Slowik? They’re going back to college before they come here. Either way, the new GM would probably be Dennis Hickey or Kevin Abrams. Sounds better, right?😂
@@baxatakbaxatak2014Vrabel went to and won playoff games after 2019. Why does Daboll deserve a reprieve? No one has gotten better under him. His offenses stink and he's supposed to be an offensive guru. His team are constantly making errors in game and he opens seasons unprepared. The Vikings coach called that out.
@ He’s in the middle of a total rebuild that was never going to be fixed overnight, has not lost the team, and has been keeping the games since Tampa close with all the mounting injuries. He won in 2019, but since then, he was one and done. Good regular season, paper tiger in playoffs. Honestly very overrated.
Dan, that's BS. Lock knew exactly what he did. He didn't need to hear. Then to compare it to Reid and saying it doesn't happen to him. BS, what about on the SB with Kelce. Come on man
STOP - You cannot discuss completion %, without mentioning 7 dropped passes, 2 passes blown by Slayton on the sidelines and Nabers doing a faceplant on the hash mark.

No, I want Schoen and Daboll to get two years tops. This way, they can continue the rebuild that Mara signed off on (and the fanbase BEGGED for), draft and develop their quarterback, and build the roster further. Next year, they must win more games. That should be easy enough. If in 2026, they can’t make the playoffs, THEN you move on from them. Panic-firing never works. Just ask the Jets.
Thank you gentlemen! Beat Giants pod out there
I know it's not the most fun to talk about this team right now, but I still listen to every show. Keep up the good work
Thank you BBB. Great show.

Yo Falato, that is a legendary ad read:
“Swinging around like you’re trying to destroy a pinata.” That is fn fantastic. Thnaks for the laugh!
Thanks guys - good breakdown as usual!
Excellent breakdown men!
Thanks! Like I said yesterday Daboll deserves criticism, but with this years QB room and current OL not sure what he is meant to do
He wanted to re-sign Jones and the offense wasn't very good even when the OL was healthy. He needs to go.
Thanks. You both are keeping us all sane

Thanks guys for doing the film review even though this team is pathetic. On the Mr.brightside we r 4 losses away from Shedeur!

Nice video, guys. I will be very depressed from football if they do not fire Daboll.

Can't wait til we get Cam Ward cuz he would make all of these throws man
Pass protection mostly nonexistent. Better pocket, better reads. Receivers held a Drop-a-thon. Receiver routes need cleaner cuts & better coordination.
So we can agree that Daboll is a good offensive play-caller. I'm not sure it follows that therefore he should be HC after this season. He is on a long of coaches who struggle to translate success on one side of the ball to leading the entire team.
Bellinger WIDE open 😩😩
With Lock failing to throw the ball, much as we saw Jones recently, I wonder why.
"Individual QB play does decide wins and losses" should be an NFL tenet like "you are what your record says you are"
Nick, you gotta change your Twitter profile pic, every time I see it Im like "What does this LL Bean model know about football?"
We truly are pathetic when the play of guys like Micah or Kayvon are “excellent”, then we are lost as to what good football really is
It's gotta be so frustrating to be this open and watch your QB just run lol

Its hard to call plays when you don’t have a good quarterback to execute the offense
