All Bells in Paradise is a new carol written by John Rutter for the Choir of King's College, Cambridge. It is the final track on their new album, Nine Lessons & Carols, and will be included in the Festival of Nine Lessons & Carols, broadcast live on Christmas Eve, 2012.
Nine Lessons & Carols is the first release from the Choir of King's College, Cambridge on their own label, available now from all good record shops.

This never fails to move me. I have sung it several times (bass part) and listened to a choir sing it too on a number of occasions. Absolute masterpiece from John Rutter.
My fathers favourite. He is still alive but i can cry when i think of his funeral when this song will be played. I know its stupid but i m so sad its gonna happen..

Christmas doesn't get any better than this.
I listen to this so often. The lyrics and music are comforting and exquisite to me.

I agree- been saying this for years- and there’s always a John Rutter piece played and sang at almost all Royal Weddings-so it’s not that they are unaware of his substantial contribution! Come on, peeps - get it organised!

No matter how many times I watch and listen to this video, I always say, "Wow! That is so awesome!" Everything this choir does is amazing.

I am a chorister from boyhood. Love British church choirs and also die Wiener Sangerknaben on the continent. This song is winsome and I think of the gentle and kind heart of my Lord Jesus Christ. I thank the Lord for music, and we best use it in praise to Him for sending our messiah to cover our sins and propitiate the Father's just wrath. Dr. David Martin Lloyd-Jones of Westminster Chapel was quite correct.

I heard this song for the first time at St. Giles Cathedral in Edinburgh on Christmas morning. My first time to Edinburgh....this song was moving, powerful and beautiful. What a wonderful Christmas experience!

I discovered this piece and this marvelous performance at the beginning of this year. I suggested it for my choir's Christmas concert and, indeed, we sung it last Friday. Really nice to sing this music!
How can you be human and not love this sound. Yet 1/10 of the people who listened gave a bad. That last chord hands in the air. Voices, acoustics, organ = beauty in sound.
Rutter's music always has so much depth and console in it.

John Rutter is the most talented composer to cross our paths in many many years. I love to sing his music as well as listen to it. I get goose bumps when ever I hear his music.

What a wonderful performance of an unusually fine carol. The choir quietly sustains the last note very well. Kudos to the choir, to Mr. Cleobury, and to Mr. Rutter.

My initial reaction to "All Bells in Paradise" was, "Wow. I wish I had discovered this piece prior to Christmas and not a few days after." But musical beauty transcends whichever moment it is meant to honor. Thank you for sharing this video! Together, the choir and the piece are a taste of heaven.
(As a sidenote, I love that the one performer is wearing a Captain America T-shirt. There's something wonderful and relatable in the down-to-earth demeanor of the King's College Choir...)

I heard this just after Christmas last year when videos were posted of "Carols From Kings 2012". I heard this new Rutter piece and was just so thrilled about it. Beautiful lyrics to go with an unforgettable melody. Very nice harmonies too! Got our choirmaster at church here in west Toronto Canada to order copies and we're doing it this coming Christmas. Can't wait!!

The choir at the church I attend (St. Paul's Episcopal in Kennewick, WA ) is doing this anthem as a part of a series of anthems during the prelude to the midnight mass. We've been slowly learning it and actually picking it up. Beautiful piece of music. John Rutter writes good songs.
