Wow this is by far the BEST informative wild rift video I've watched. No filler, all content. I haven't seen any other video dive into wave managent as much as you, even though it's so important. Honestly, if you broke your video concepts into separate chunks, you'd get more views and still be miles ahead of other creators on content depth. Keep it up!
Hey I appreciate that dude. Thank you. You’re right it was a bad idea to have this much repetitive content in 1 long video. Hardly anyone is watching until the half way point. Lesson learned
If you do break the videos down, putting them together in a playlist would be helpful for people that wanna watch long content, and help boost engagement as people watch more of your videos
11 months have passed yet this is by far the best informative wild rift video to ever be released on UA-cam! It is indeed long because strider was a newbie as a content creator back then but it's still a gem and a must watch
I learned wave management from my enemy so i already know this but i still watched it to refresh my brain. Also i love the music very relaxing and your voice is very calm. Thanks for the video! Very underrated.
Like many have said here, this is extremely helpful and thorough. I have been playing League on and off again for the past 7 years. I have yet to see a video covering this exact topic in such detail. Your effort is greatly appreciated.
WTF WHY AM I FINDING THIS ONLY NOW?!?!?! No annoying music, actual live footage without perfect games, great announciation and voice, says shows the same concepts over and over again with tons of examples and stiuations. Plus is that I was malph and garen main so it's insanely easy to apply
At last a new part of precious knowledge! I like both content and the form. It may seem long, but it didn't feel like it while watching. The balance between gameplay and explanations is also fine.
Yooo, Strider, I just discovered your channel recently and the info here is crazy, after I got something like 20 hours of minion wave guides, in your videos I found veery very relevant details about playing around the minions that nobody talked about, with your guides I hope I will break my DII barrier in climbing
At the time of this comment, I'm 18min as it is 6months old. I know it's a big responsibility, but this is exactly what wild rift needs. The magic is in the details. The edits. Showcasing what happens between champions during a type of push. What they do if they attack you at whatever point in the wave. The arrows, the literally pointing at things and stopping the video. All the edits and explanations make it the most impactful. Not only just to teach, but to learn, and to see it. Equally important is the champion to champion matchups. I've been playing for 2 years. And it isn't always so easy to memorize who's good/bad against who. But just like in the Renekton video, the way you point out using arrows, circles, and stopping the vid to explain is where the juice is. It's one thing to play the game. It's quite another to comprehensively understand macro & micro together. Everything I have viewed from you is just exactly what the world needs so the player base becomes better, more competitive, more aware, less toxic, less ready to quit. Just magnificent sir.
Thank you. That means a lot, my friend And Yh I’ve been watching guides all my life and I always wished the teaching was more precise, and to align the commentary with relevant visuals. So when I started my own guides I tried to teach like how I imagined it should have been for me growing up
Am here from 2024, this guide is amazingly done and detailed that it is still useful to this day, i definitely learned alot on how to gain an advantage in the laning phase i was so locked in in the video that i didn't feel the time go by and finished the whole thing, thank you for this guide brother.
This is by far the most helpful and informative wave management I came across, your videos helped me reflect and apply it to the game.I would definitely come back here everytime if I have to again, I wish you could upload more of these.Thank you so much for this!
Love the video! I've always had a strong laning phase but could never really explain why. This articulates and builds on a lot of stuff I must have intuitively known.
Yh I know exactly what you mean. If you play a shit tonne if games, you figure these things out by yourself. That’s why wanted to make these guides. To help out those who haven’t put in as much time as I have
@@striderwildrift same here i play garen and i figured out these wave management things, in your video almost all the point u told i already do that but i still watched to get a practical example of the best way to manage waves
As a support main, I will use this knowledge to properly flame my team. /jk. Thanks for all your hard work, it’s good to see educational content coming back.
Haha I love playing support. No one flames when you die. You can use these tactics for the bot lane also btw. It’s just hard because your carry probably won’t know what he’s doing
How can something so thoughtful, didactic and easy to understand be hidden like that? That video is amazing! It's so fun and engaging to watch. It makes me want to see more of this. Thank you for that quality and dedication. Your really have a different light than some "content creators" who just curse every player they meet, creating this passive- aggressive environment that wild rift creators seem to enjoy so much. Normally, by the end of such a video, I would feel terrible. I would either feel the creator curse and yell at the scream so much that I would feel bad for both teams. That, or I would feel terrible for feeling that "I will never get to play like that", or "These people are so much better than me". You're not only chill, and have a calm voice when explaining. You tell step by step without cursing. Without blaming the jungler, or anyone else for when things don't go perfectly to the absolute decimal. Thank you for taking your time making this. They do say that the good players aren't the ones who rage, curse, flail around and scream when things don't go the way they want. The really good players are the humble ones. They were right.
I agree. Raging aside, I had issues watching content when I was new because they would make plays without explaining their reasoning behind it, and I always though that If I were to make a video, I would explain exactly what I’m doing and why so those watching could actually watch and learn. Not just watch.
I just want to say your videos are top notch, I think you are the first wild rift youtuber who explains each thought process and why you do certain things, thanks alot for the videos man
I have noticed I've lost early game because if not knowing many things that you mentioned in this video, even though I've got any advantage, I couldn't deny my enemies any gold or exp that much. However watching your videos and my replays ive been improved a lot and I thank you so much for your vids. Hope you good mate!

Wave knowledge is also important to understand how other lanes doing. For example at 16:50 my jungler saw that I’m about to freeze the wave which will make my opponent over extend - So the jungler came to me early and got the kill
