Good comparison. I don't think the Neewer is ready for prime time. The color is off. I wouldn't use it, particularly with brides and their white dresses.
@@guyphoto9437 it has some kinks, but not terrible. I’m gonna run it longer to see if that yellow continues..just to see if it’s gonna be ok for my wife to use at weddings.. let ya know after a few weddings!! Good to see you again!’
Be interested how that goes. I have a few older Neewer "speedlites" and all fine including the Neewer Z1 (older menu roundhead version). Hobbyist only use, not hammering like a pro.
Yeah I sent it back, (You'll see in future videos) Now trying out the V1 Pro, and maybe the Westcott FJ80 Se and FJ80 with full screen digital read out.
@@catninjawang794 It was inconsistent, it wasn’t as accurate as the V1 was.. but there are worse flashes. If you’re using it for kids, family and fun j it would be ok.. I would not want it for one of my weddings. So depends on what you’re doing with it.. if it’s irreplaceable don’t depend on it! If it’s for fun I will be fine. If you’re shooting in RAW you’ll be able to correct most images.. just don’t use it for paid gigs!! Thanks for watching!!!
Thanks for the comparison video… are the batteries interchangeable between systems?
No, they are different batteries. Thanks for watching!
Appreciate your findings.
@@jamesmgreen15 Both flashes are really good. Thinking about adding the Wescort flash into the mix.
Good comparison
Thanks!
Can you do HSS + ETTL with the Neewer? I know there's a bug with Godox.
I'm 99% sure it will. I'll let you know on Sept 23 when I do my model shoot! Thanks for watching!
@@danielmartinphotography appreciate it.
What were your findings on this matter?
Good comparison. I don't think the Neewer is ready for prime time. The color is off. I wouldn't use it, particularly with brides and their white dresses.

does Z2 work with navigator x?
I am not familiar with navigator x, so I do not have an answer for that question. I will look it up and see what I can find. Thanks for watching.
Ok I see now. I would not think it would. That looks like Godox branded gear.
Z2 is a very bad flash that I can't recommend for any photographer.

@@danielmartinphotography Can you share what the problem was? This light is $169 now, which is almost half of V1's price. Any suggestions?
