@@wesleyjames. You’re right there, but Sweden is a bit more flat than Norway. We have our mountains in the north, but that’s quite far away from Stockholm where I live.
It’s nice to see a NZ channel which is Triumph related. I’ve got a T120 Matt Black, and a Yamaha XMax Scoot. The T100 is the sweet spot of all the classics. A belated Happy New Year from Ak, NZ.
Good Video. But want to suggest something.. Is background music required? As motorcycle traveler, I think the motor engine sound is best music to listen its variation as per the road conditions. And obvious surrounding nature sound as well.
Great video Wes. Back in the early nineties a couple of British nutters of which I’m one drove that journey up over the mountains to Greymouth in winter. It was touch and go for a while. I thought they might discover our bodies during the spring thaw but we lived to tell the tale.
@@wesleyjames. Would love to. I've friends in Nelson and want to walk Abel Tasman again it was paradise. I'd definitely rent a motorbike though. That's the way to see NZ.
Thanks, yes I often think parts of NZ remind me of Scotland. I was just riding through an area called "Little River" today and the lakes and hills reminded me of Loch Lomond. I think riding a Bonneville through the Scottish highlands is definitely on my bucket list!
Another great vid Wes! I agree with earlier comments about hearing more of the bike and a bit less of the music but that’s being picky 😊 Stunning scenery. We are moving from AKL to CHC later this year and we are very much looking forward to exploring this wonderful part of our great country. Keep it up man!
Thanks, yes I'm busy trying to get a good Motovlogging audio setup (it's really hard to get a crisp Moto sound) You'll love Christchurch, totally different pace of life to Auckland!
@@wesleyjames. thanks a bunch, I’m doing the same with Hero10 varying between NDs too. I need to play with my settings for a bit more stabilization and night shots, also switching between chin mounts and chest. Congrats on your fantastic editing and footage 👍🏻 Look forward to seeing more of your projects!
I like the stability of the chest mount, but might switch to a helmet mount for a while to mix things up. I'm busy working on a product review which I'll hopefully release soon, Thanks for the support @@DavFer424
Nice video. Definitely better without the music when you’re talking. Or at the very least have it down super low as not to distract from what you’re saying. Otherwise. Really nice footage. Well done that guy! 😊👍🏾
Wow, wonderful landscape. I envy you who lives in such a country. Sweden is great, but it doesn't have this scenery.
Thanks, you'll have to come visit sometime! I always thought the NZ scenery was quite similar to that of Norway & Scotland combined.

I love south island❤
So do I, that's why I moved down from Auckland almost a year ago, it's so beautiful

Thanks for the comment, I’m aiming to get more videos out in the not too distant future. Let me know if you ever want to swap bikes 😉👌

Next time I do one of these videos I'll focus on the engine sound as a priority, as the crowd has spoken!
Yeah, ditch the background music. The exhaust note of the T100 IS the background music.

Glad to hear you lived to tell the tale, be it nearly 35 years later! Time to book flights and come for another spin methinks!

Lovely. Reminded me a lot of Scotland but with higher mountains and no speed cameras. The Bonnie looked totally at home there.

Gorgeous scenery and I love your camera angle to include the Triumph’s awesome instrumentation. 👍
Only the best motorbike instrumentation out there ;)
@@wesleyjames. I think you’re right. I’ve thought about the scramblers but I’m not sure I can look at that dash. 😂
The T-100’s dash is a work of art.
Another great vid. Thanks. I'm impressed with the rock fall works they have done along the Kaikoura coastline. Beautiful scenery.
Thanks Barry, I hope to ride up those ways again at the end of Feb, will try get more footage!

Awesome mate😊✌🏻
Thanks ✌️
Yep that was good, I've ridden most of the S.I. roads , nice memories of my Kwak 1100 riding on those long touring miles. Cheers n beers...
Nice mate, I can't wait to do more... I'm travelling down to Invercargill in a few weeks, and up to Queenstown. Should be epic :)
Simply fantastic. 😊
Glad you enjoyed it
A hint of South African I hear brriiiing bring🤣.Great filming👍.
Yes mate, I moved here in 2001 though, still can't shake the thing! haha
Great video! Can I ask what kind of camera equipment you’re using?
Hi David, sure I'm using a Hero10 Black. I've recently got a ND filter with a '8' setting but think I need the '16'.

So stunning 😍
Thanks Hayley, hope to see a video of your mega Aussie ride soon ;)
I have done those roads to 2025 we are doing the whole of the south island I'm hopeing to video it as well 😊
That'll be great, let me know when you do!
@@wesleyjames. will do mate
Your friend rode from Auckland to CC on an interceptor?😐
Yeah man, and back again!
Nice. Subbed!
Legend, appreciate it! 🙏🏼
Awesome mate do more please but without the music I have a 2004 Bonnie and the engine sound is better than any music track
Will do, the crowd has spoken!
I think is better without music
Noted! I’ll aim for more engine noise on the next one 👍🏼
Can confirm

Appreciate the feedback Ben
The roads look much much better than roads north of Auck
I agree, I moved down here a year ago from Auckland. It's riding heaven once you get about 1 hour from Christchurch (excluding Akaroa)
