such a change to see all this...Im from UK I live in remote Cornwall..a few miles from lands end..as far removed from all this as you can get....!!
The tour is just fascinating and for those of us not lucky enough to live near,why,just so interesting.Those tree lined streets full of beautiful homes are magnificent.The civic buildings as everywhere are indeed overwhelming,but the civic guys never hold back on their work environment or offices,may explain the huge taxes!
Here in London so many of our oligarchs are a little unsure of being here,the atmosphere has chilled somewhat and over 15,000 flats/apartments,which are tiny,languish on the market.
Again only in America can a tear down be in the multi millions of US Dollars and this wealth attracts even more wealth.

Not true... I work for a developer in the UK and we regularly tear down multi million pound houses... in fact I have seen him tear down a £12,000,000 home on the Wentworth estate recently to be replaced by a 48,000 sq ft new build. It happens way more regularly than you would think. The London market has slowed down but Surrey is booming and has a huge amount of property worth 30 million + now and there is maybe 10-15 houses in Surrey, that if they were to be put up for sale would be worth well over 70 million. I don't know the London market well but I know there is hundreds of homes worth 100m + if they were to be sold. People tend to buy homes in the UK to live in because realistically the appeal of living here isn't as great because of the weather and we have high tax rates and huge stamp duty to pay, therefore we rarely see vastly expensive houses for sale. Take a drive in the Wentworth Estate, its just as stunning as Beverly Hills, we just don't have the beautiful weather

I haven't been to California Yet, but I plan on coming soon for my on tour (BTW like your tours a lot) but why when you're give us a tour, why are so many cars park on the street instead of the drive way
Owner have the staff and workers park on the street.
Is the footage sometimes so shaky because it was recorded live or did you use a different camera mount? Other than that very informative and good sound quality!
Looked like around 75 instead of 55 degrees. Still warmer than our temperatures around freezing point in central europe.

Live in BH, Choo? The USPS decided to vacate the post office; Beverly Hills didn't own it. Will Rodgers got the federal money to build in the early thirties - and the rest is history. The Wallis Annenberg Theater. All properties "below the tracks" as we say are the "affordable" homes. But actually they rise south of Olympic. The 900 block north, above the "Business Triangle," starts the heavy weights. The "Flats" is more considered south of SM. Sadly, those areas yield the McMansion mentality. I think it was a mistake the City Council allowed. And NO - The Beverly Ridge is not in Beverly Park's league. It's always fair to remind people that BHPO is NOT Beverly HIlls. These area are not under Beverly HIlls jurisdiction - they are in Los Angeles city. It simply has to do with the zip code reconfigurations over time. But I'll survive around there! Lol...
Use to live there on South Reeves. Wow-$4.09 for gas!
The last time I went is was like $4.49

Interesting videos. Suggestions: make notes about landmarks along your route before you get on the road. I used to think that Sunset Blvd was the tail end of Route 66 ending at Pacific Palisades and the ocean, not Sta. Monica Blvd, ending in Sta. Monica. But I was wrong! However, it started in Chicago and doesn't go across the country.
