Caribbean Princess: Complimentary Food Options

Cruise ships offer many different complimentary food options for passengers to enjoy. However, it’s not always obvious which options are included in your fare. In this video, we’ll provide an overview of all of the venues that served complimentary food aboard the Caribbean Princess during our cruise in April 2023.

I was interested until I found this was April, options have changed since August 2nd.

Do you know what changed? We were on this ship August, 2023. We never do room service, so possibly that changed. Overall, we found the food to be really good, with a wide selection. We didn't totally love the more compact layout of the buffet relative to other ships we've been on---but it did have a really good selection. I don't recall seeing a lot of pre-made sandwiches--but they had an area with bread, condiments, multiple sliced deli meats, and you could make your own sandwich easily enough. But they did have some pre-made sandwiches.

I wish you told what the yellow dot meant on some of the foods.

Unfortunately, we were never able to find out from the crew what the dots signified. We suspect they were used to ensure food was fresh, but that's just our best guess.
