God made you who you are. Your life experiences and personal strength helped shape you to become the wonderful person you are today. I have a notebook I keep in my desk that I call my "rememberall" where I make notes of when we did stuff. Such as, bought a new refrigerator, got the sump tank cleaned, purchased a new dishwasher, etc. Those are things I never remember, and so I refer to that notebook when I need to remember something. Works great!
I love this idea! As someone with ADHD I usually only have one journal but this one is perfect because this would be for my husband. I can also add in business cards and prices. For example, we get out trees trimmed professionally because we have 5 very tall palm trees. Thanks for the idea.

I'm glad you shared the travelers notebooks today and that you feel like you need to remove the notebooks to actually write in them. Great to see your progress! I've been feeling pretty directionless recently which adds to my anxiety (even though I'm better at having it under my control) and this video gave me some ideas how to keep myself in check and how to progress. I've been enjoying and following your writing journey about the Secret Life of Vanessa Shaw. I hope I got that title right. And I very much enjoy your monthly notebook challenge videos. It makes my stationery lovers heart so happy. I also compartmentalize evrything so I have a ton of different journals and planners, all for seperate purposes. So I get it. I know where to find whatever I'm looking for because it's separated. Hope your editing goes smoothly!
I am so excited for HB90 this month. I watched this video twice because it is full of awesome energy! I love watching the planning videos of The Organized Money - Alaina is awesome at the life management planner systems. Looking forward to seeing all your setups. You know we love that!
Don't forget to include a health and wellness section of your Family Admin notebook. :) I used to keep a migraine/headache log in mine that was designed to look like a Tetris game (different shaped pieces for different types headaches or triggers with spaces for dates and medicines taken). Right now, with so much chaos in my life, I've had to cut back on my notebooks and planners to the bare minimum. I have four notebooks I use regularly, plus a planner I'd like to use more often, but just don't have the time and creative energy for. Notebook one is just for scratch--a place to quickly jot or puzzle something on paper that can be ripped out and tossed later. Notebook two is my "currently open tabs" notebook--a place to keep long-term, ongoing projects, shipping reminders, gift ideas, etc. (Anything and everything that is random that might need to be added to or referenced later.) Notebook three is a "perpetual to-do list" where the pages have bullet points and I add things that I need to remember to do. There are no due dates, there is no order of completion, it's just stuff that needs to get done. (This one took a lot of pressure off my already full plate and mind.) Notebook four is my WIP notebook, where I'm keeping track of word counts, writing stage deadlines, personal progress reports, reminders, etc. Some seasons of our lives allot for more creative energy and time, which means pretty notebooks, decorated pages, themed doodads all to bring us joy and peace. And sometimes, joy and peace can be found in three plain old spiral notebooks bought two decades ago and a cheap bullet journal. I look forward to the day when I can pull out all my pretties again and be able to have them lined up on a shelf near my desk. Until then, doodles, random stickers from my three-year-old, and a little (a lot of) personal grace goes a long way towards maintaining joy, keeping that well filled, and keeping life organized.
For your son, since he is similar in age to mine.... my son is 12..... I put together a course for him with UA-cam videos on how to draw his favorite Pokemon. The artist was amazing at describing the how and then he would transfer that over to other Pokemon characters. I also found artists drawing characters like those from Wings of Fire and Wingfeather Series. I'll look up what I used and send them to you.
I'm so excited for summer! I've been on a healing journey from trauma, and I'm looking for a notebook to write my personal thoughts down in and keep for myself as a secret journal. ❤ I love these notebook challenges!

However, I am thinking of switching things up. The weekly insert isn't working for me like it used to. I also need to re-incorporate writing into my daily routine, as I'm going to be starting over on my WIP. Right now I'm journaling about it more than anything. I totally get not being able to have everything in ONE notebook. My brain screams! My notebooks have been sadly neglected of late...too much stress, not any space to have my notebooks set up and really work on them. Also going between two towns constantly, which makes packing...difficult! Hoping for some relief soon and the ability to really spend time on what matters to me.
I have been slacking the last couple months. Trying to get back in the habit of writing every day. Have a blessed summer. I think it's awesome about the after lunch art time! Check out the local library for classes. I wonder if anyone has come up with a Kool aid and canvas for parents and their kiddos? Might be fun.

Thank you for being so upbeat in this video... it has helped to motivate me a bit more. I also used a variety of notebooks for different reasons and I enjoy seeing what others do with theirs. I fell out of the planning and journaling habit when my mom died. I tried a couple of times to restart the journaling, but it was not the right time yet. Planning things will be a bit longer of a break. I am still in the process of grief, and a planner full of broken plans very difficult to face. Ending on an upbeat note... I love the Hello Kitty notebook. I also have a varied collection of Hello Kitty items 😍

Planning multiple stories in one place is such a great idea. Especially when planning a series or interconnected standalone series . I’ll definitely have to try it. Instead of having plans and notes and ideas in a hundred different places.
Oh, I forgot to put in my comment the Ed Emberley drawing/doodling books are great for kids. When I was Evie’s age I loved the one that uses thumbprints. I got them for my daughter when she was little. Bonus that I now have drawings with her little fingerprints!
I do have to separate things in notebooks as well, but not too much or I feel like I'm repeating information, or if it's too granular then it would take me way too long to fill it up and I lose interest. I love the project planner. My work is very project based so it may help me. I love the kiki k wallet. I wish they were easier to get. I have a home management notebook for everything home and car. I keep up with a lot of the stuff you are keeping up with--when did I last lists, meal plans, vehicle maintenance, and repairs. I don't do budgeting because hubby does that and has his own system for it. I call mine a home management journal (it's not a planner, there's no calendars in it or anything). I know Flylady calls hers a home control journal, but I don't like the word control. I don't want to control my home, just manage it.

Sadly, tolerance is frequently only given if a person does things the SAME way as the person asking for tolerance. It's sad, really, that you feel you have to explain your reasons behind having some many notebooks and use the amount you do. You should not HAVE to explain your reasons, or feel you are being judged by your choices. I'm with you, I wish tolerance was something that EVERYONE gave to EVERYONE else, especially when it's different that what they do. As an aphantasia with ADHD and alls the anxieties, my brain is a complete different process than anyone I've found and because of this, I struggle significantly to find people who accept that my process is NOT like theirs - I've become more and more withdrawn from other writers to stop facing as much criticism from others, or people trying to change my process in favor of what works for them.
I KNEW IT WAS GOING PURPLE! i KNEW IT! ^^ I love the decorations in planner but they tend to slide off so if people in the comments have solutions, thanks ( i use washi but it s not ideal) also i don't know how to make it cute *sad face emoji that i can't do cuz im on my computer*
I've been bad in writing on my journal. I enjoyed decorating the notebook/journal pages up, but recently I had not been journaling as much. I had been reading more, and thankful for manga volumes in helping towards my reading goal. As the midyear is coming near, I'm noticing that I had been thinking more about what to use for next year's planner/journal lineup. But that's a work-in-progress XD.
I share your notebook addition - I have a nice collection going. I bought the Sterling ink notebooks too! I am not sure 🤔 how I would use them , but will be part of the 2024 lineup… Being a Hobonichi fan, somehow I never had a Stalogy, so I would love to try!!!

Love listening to how you are using all of your notebooks. I switched to a B6 size on your recommendation for my carry-with-me plotting notes and do love that size for its portability. I haven't tried a Moterm cover, but I just got the Airy Aura Estelle perfect fit cover in Poison Apple and it is so beautiful! I've only had it a month and my dog tried to eat it! I put a coffee cup sticker over the bite mark that says the quote you got your name from, "Fill your writing with the breathings of your heart." That quote on the sticker saved me from being said about the mark on the cover. Anyway, I digress! What I meant to say was it fits a B6 Wonderland 222 notebook perfectly and expands to hold two of them! If you haven't tried one of their covers, I definitely recommend them. I just order another in a pretty lavender in A5 to put my Hobonichi Cousin in. I love the sticker shop you shared. I had to bookmark it for future use! I'm looking forward to your video on changing schedules. I am a teacher and since I normally work one full time and two part time jobs during the school year, it will take some flexible scheduling to now only work around 2 part-time jobs. I would think I'd have more time, but my two teens are both autistic with some other health issues, so having them both home all day is going to cancel out the time not going to work at the high school gives me, lol.

I love the idea of having several stories planned in the same notebook, with time you'll be able to even see how your planning process evolves.

The artist was amazing at describing the how and then he would transfer that over to other Pokemon characters. I also found artists drawing characters like those from Wings of Fire and Wingfeather Series. I'll look up what I used and send them to you.

For my planner, I've still been using my old trusty pink TN I've had forever. However, I am thinking of switching things up. The weekly insert isn't working for me like it used to. I've been attending more of The Revised Writer's planning streams, so I want to have something that will fit that process better. I also need to re-incorporate writing into my daily routine, as I'm going to be starting over on my WIP. Right now I'm journaling about it more than anything.

My notebooks have been sadly neglected of late...too much stress, not any space to have my notebooks set up and really work on them. Also going between two towns constantly, which makes packing...difficult!

Thank you for being so upbeat in this video... it has helped to motivate me a bit more. I also used a variety of notebooks for different reasons and I enjoy seeing what others do with theirs.
I fell out of the planning and journaling habit when my mom died. I tried a couple of times to restart the journaling, but it was not the right time yet. Planning things will be a bit longer of a break. I am still in the process of grief, and a planner full of broken plans very difficult to face.

Oh, I forgot to put in my comment the Ed Emberley drawing/doodling books are great for kids. When I was Evie’s age I loved the one that uses thumbprints. I got them for my daughter when she was little. Bonus that I now have drawings with her little fingerprints!

I do have to separate things in notebooks as well, but not too much or I feel like I'm repeating information, or if it's too granular then it would take me way too long to fill it up and I lose interest. I love the project planner. My work is very project based so it may help me. I love the kiki k wallet. I wish they were easier to get. I have a home management notebook for everything home and car. I keep up with a lot of the stuff you are keeping up with--when did I last lists, meal plans, vehicle maintenance, and repairs. I don't do budgeting because hubby does that and has his own system for it. I call mine a home management journal (it's not a planner, there's no calendars in it or anything). I know Flylady calls hers a home control journal, but I don't like the word control. I don't want to control my home, just manage it.

I forgot to mention that Michaels UA-cam (Michaels store) has their online classes uploaded on there as well. So, this way you don’t always have to do a class when it’s live if you don’t want to. I’ll post the links here for you too. Sorry I didn’t do that yesterday.

Sadly, tolerance is frequently only given if a person does things the SAME way as the person asking for tolerance. It's sad, really, that you feel you have to explain your reasons behind having some many notebooks and use the amount you do. You should not HAVE to explain your reasons, or feel you are being judged by your choices. I'm with you, I wish tolerance was something that EVERYONE gave to EVERYONE else, especially when it's different that what they do.
As an aphantasia with ADHD and alls the anxieties, my brain is a complete different process than anyone I've found and because of this, I struggle significantly to find people who accept that my process is NOT like theirs - I've become more and more withdrawn from other writers to stop facing as much criticism from others, or people trying to change my process in favor of what works for them.
I KNEW IT WAS GOING PURPLE! i KNEW IT! ^^ I love the decorations in planner but they tend to slide off so if people in the comments have solutions, thanks ( i use washi but it s not ideal) also i don't know how to make it cute *sad face emoji that i can't do cuz im on my computer*
I've been bad in writing on my journal. I enjoyed decorating the notebook/journal pages up, but recently I had not been journaling as much. I had been reading more, and thankful for manga volumes in helping towards my reading goal. As the midyear is coming near, I'm noticing that I had been thinking more about what to use for next year's planner/journal lineup. But that's a work-in-progress XD.
I share your notebook addition - I have a nice collection going. I bought the Sterling ink notebooks too! I am not sure 🤔 how I would use them , but will be part of the 2024 lineup… Being a Hobonichi fan, somehow I never had a Stalogy, so I would love to try!!!

Love listening to how you are using all of your notebooks. I switched to a B6 size on your recommendation for my carry-with-me plotting notes and do love that size for its portability. I haven't tried a Moterm cover, but I just got the Airy Aura Estelle perfect fit cover in Poison Apple and it is so beautiful! I've only had it a month and my dog tried to eat it! I put a coffee cup sticker over the bite mark that says the quote you got your name from, "Fill your writing with the breathings of your heart." That quote on the sticker saved me from being said about the mark on the cover. Anyway, I digress! What I meant to say was it fits a B6 Wonderland 222 notebook perfectly and expands to hold two of them! If you haven't tried one of their covers, I definitely recommend them. I just order another in a pretty lavender in A5 to put my Hobonichi Cousin in.
I love the sticker shop you shared. I had to bookmark it for future use! I'm looking forward to your video on changing schedules. I am a teacher and since I normally work one full time and two part time jobs during the school year, it will take some flexible scheduling to now only work around 2 part-time jobs. I would think I'd have more time, but my two teens are both autistic with some other health issues, so having them both home all day is going to cancel out the time not going to work at the high school gives me, lol.
