- Hi guys! I made a new video of aespa speaking fluent english for 4 minutes straight because their comeback is coming. Anyway hope you enjoy. Feel free to leave suggestions for future videos that you want to see :)

Giselle and Karina can speak english thoroughly, Winter is still learning, not sure with Ningning but her pronunciation is nice

@@PrincessPunkPants I’m confused with Winter and Ningning (probably Ningning might be better considering she is a foreigner so she might talk a lot of english with others while learning korean), but regardless Winter has very high confidence in speaking (even though some of them just a basic and it almost like she created new sentences lol) but confidence is very important in speaking so she would probably improved in short times especially while living with Giselle and Karina.

Despite the other members except giselle really learned how to speak English or not, their eng accent are good tho. The way they speak english is pretty clear, theres no korean/chinese(ningning) accent on their eng, that is why they all sounds fluent
They must've had lessons to work on their pronounciation (minus giselle) as soon as they were selected as part of the debut line up. Either way getting a nice accent takes a lot of time and practice so big respect
Having an accent doesnt make ur eng bad. What's matters is the syntax, grammar and pronunciation. As long as it's understandable its fine.

having an english speaker (giselle) is very good because the other members understand english pretty well from just being around her all the time (as well as individual studies). just like in itzy because of Lia

Wow! I didn’t know the other members (other than Giselle) knew English that thoroughly! That’s actually really impressive wow. Winters pronunciation is beautiful and Karina is so fluent!
When I wasn't into the members yet I thought Winter is the next best english speaker after Giselle but after watching more content, I realize it was Karina who speaks more english and I guess more comfortable with it. But they are all great actually. I like their pronounciation.

With the expansion of KPOP worldwide, companies put more emphasis in English classes compared to before i think 🤔 almost all of the rookies have very good English pronunciation (like less korean accent) and have good grammar construction compared to older idols based on my observation.
But which older idols are you referring to? Shinhwa have eric, 2pm have taecyeon, all wonder girls members can speak English, snsd have jessica and tiffany, super junior have siwon and henry, god have that old guy, most of the older idols have good English speaker though🤷🏻♀️ even BoA speaks good English. I dont understand when you said older idols dont have good English speaker member
@@cuetzen712 what I meant is not "representative" wise. What I noticed about 4th Gen Idols is that somehow all members are able to speak basic English with proper pronunciations. I do think companies have put in effort to teach all members English because of international promotions in KPOP which is very common now compared to before. This is why we see more members from 4th Gen groups speaking during interviews, compared to groups like you have mentioned wherein it's mostly the "representative" that speaks in English. I hope I made myself clear with that :)
