Wow. What wonderful Easter service. May God bless the Anglican Communion. I'm proudly Anglican from Johannesburg; South Africa. I will be confirmed this coming Saturday at St Michael's Anglican Church🙌🙌🙌🙌❤❤❤👋👋👋
Norman Rathbone, Dean emeritus of Hereford 1969-82, my father, cherished this of all services and in these days of darkness the light and aura of our christian celebration shines ever brighter to lead us into the light.
Beautiful Easter liturgy. Fantastic cinematography! Glorious singing! Superb setting! Mighty Queen’s English! Thanks for posting, from Raleigh, NC, USA. This helped make my Easter this year (2020) during pandemic lockdown.

I am not imagining it. If you hear the words ‘because we all share in one bread’ there always sounds like a deliberate pause after ‘share’ but if you see the text written down, there’s no indication like a comma that there should be a pause at that point. But I’ve heard this service so many times that I’ve become used to that pause.
Choirs on TV Your latest post of this wonderful choir, prompted me to have a look back at some of this choirs other recordings. Thank you for the nudge in the ribs.😁 😁 😁
Moses King Wow, better not say this outloud in Wyoming-the Equality State. We gals within earshot would happily give you the mop, and so would the men around you, too. May God grant you enlightment.🙋🏼♀️🌠🏔

If there is anything they desire to learn, let them ask their husbands at home. For it is shameful for a woman to speak in church.“ Read scripture. Women don’t belong at the altar.
@Moses King my country has many women clergy and we are doing quite well and our numbers a growing any woman should be able to serve at the altar, I think your comment was very disrespectful.

@@johnjacob2236 It is great that in India it is like that, from what I researched since the bible says that women should COVER their heads, some churches chose to use some kind of hat instead of veils that cover the heads, that is why for a long time, hats were used in the church. Surely many modern Christians thought that the use of hats in the church by women was not important and that is why it was stopped, but we must return to use it as it is a mandate, especially today that have been appointed women bishops who teach and pray with their heads uncovered which is against the Bible and the entire history of the church.

There are far too many places who have an appearance of faith but not the substance thereof.... an example is the sermon preached in this video. The plain teaching of what Christ did on the cross and how belief in his sacrificial death and glorious riesurrection, defeating death, hell and the grave and submitting oneself to his saving power and Lordship by invinting him to be Saviour and Lord in our lives and the consequence of the infilling of the Holy Spirit of God within the saved soul is the hope and life for the world. Becsuse the New Testament made clear that there was a new covenant and no need to stick so slavishly to the ancient rules of the Old. Also we use our reason and sense since the Enlightenment. Our reason tells us that a lot of the dietary rules in ancient scripture made perfect sense for people living in a very hot climate, and often in a nomadic way of life. Many meat products were not safe to eat in such conditions. Our sense tells us that we now have refrigeration and food hygiene and an understanding of micro biology, so we don’t need those obsolete rules anymore.

I have a humble question, I'm really interested about it, why did the church stop wearing the veil on women?
In kerala india ladies must wear veil

There'll be quite a few more of them here now!
It would be more sensible (if not more respectable) to be Jesus Day rather than Easter Day.
Where did you get the word "Easter" from?
@Esperance Fe Is that why you name the day in honour of the "sun" instead of the Son?
