I would run and hide from Emily! Lol, Emily was the most annoying and frustrating wife, Mother and grandmother on t.v.. for all the years she played Emily Gilmore, the writers always made her annoying. I had to stop watching the show because of her over the top attitude, she just wouldn’t be quiet. She was too snobby, bossy, nosy, just about everything was wrong with her but she was never wrong or sincere. It was so predictable that every scene she was in, she always turned things around to get mad at Lorelai, be condescending, sarcastic, to Lorelai. It got old fast to keep hearing Emily Gilmore blame Lorelai for something.
I think Emily was actually not a horrible character. Lorelai always blamed her parents for everything even after season 1,2,&3 … she was around 37 years old and still complaining that her parents ruined her life when she chose to run away. Sure Emily Gilmore was strict and a bit snobby but she still had love for Lorelai and Rory and didn’t deserve to be treated like that by her only daughter. Plus Lorelai kept alot of things from Emily especially her being engaged, which is pretty big to be keeping from your own mother and father
@@ItsGRamirez01 Emily & Richard always treated her awfully & they kept forcing her to love them & be around them. how she feels & need wasn’t important to them. they made her feel stuck & uncomfortable the whole time she lived with them which made her runaway & then called her a disappointment just coz she didn’t wanna marry chris. i think her feelings toward them are totally valid.
@@sabrinagilmore thanks for saying this, coz they are so many who are hating lorelai for protecting herself. i am in a similar situation & i can’t wait to move out & never talk to my abusive parents & relatives again
This was one of my all time favorite scenes lol.
hahahaha Emily, a estranha
kkk essa série é muito boa, terminei de assistir esses dias pela segunda vez
Kkkkkkkk eu queria ser mãe igual a Lorelai 😂😂
Kkskskskkd também
The writers changed Rory she would’ve been fine
Idk if it’s just me but Lorelei and Taylor Swift are so similar
Emily who? C’mon Rory, although obviously it was for the dialogue.

@@ItsGRamirez01 do you really think that not-loving-parents trauma magically goes away when you grow up?
the only times i felt really bad for her was when richard's mother was around. i really don't get this kind of Mother-in-law...
