Someone said they will look stupid if they turn their lights on in tower. I stayed in the luxor and i thought the same, but i think the windows have very dark tints so no light will come out ... i think ?
There were talks of doing the entire fountain with changeable colored lights, but white was chosen to express elegance. On a few occasions, all the lights are tinted.

Each unit has a pump, nozzle and four lights, plus two drive motors for the side-to-side & front-to-back motion. Bellagio's are attached to a tilting arm, which raises them up for shows and lets them submerge completely between. Dubai Fountain has a very shallow pool, so its Oarsmen are set into a frame, with nozzle & lights all staying the same depth as they move using a sort of pantograph to link them together. Their nozzles tilt all the way over flat to hide under the water between shows. WET has a mechanical model in their factory, wherein you can move the jet around using a joystick! The lights work too. The only thing the model doesn't do is spray water.
There are a total of 213 Oarsmen at Bellagio. The Arc has 105 of them, and there are provisions for 5 more at the north end, though I don't know if those were installed and then removed after testing, or if they never went in. The spots where they would have been installed are clearly visible on the pool floor. The Big Circle has the other 108 of them, 72 on the outer ring, 36 on the inner ring. Total jet height/distance is about 70 feet, but they have variable-speed pumps. Every single Oarsman's pump is individually-controllable, as is each one's lights, which can be operated separately from the pumps. I don't know how many of each type of nozzle the Dubai Fountain has, but I've been to the Bellagio many times and looked at it in a lot of depth. If you ever visit Las Vegas, the concierge desk in the hotel lobby can give you a paper showing which songs play at which times (the fountain controllers change the schedule often).

Las Vegas is one of the most beautiful cities in all of the United States.But now it has a population of about 2 million people,its too diverse and too cosmopolitan and with that ,sadly,its becoming more like any other big US city.

@Kisinkona I think the pumps just recycle the water that's already in the lake. So maybe a waste of electricity, but not water :)
