- This is my reaction/review for 'Translucent' by Termina which is a new single! This is their first release since they put out their album 'Dysphoria' last year which I covered a bit of on the channel. This definitely feels like a step in the right direction for me. What are your thoughts?

Massive breakdown. Andy's vocal range is insane, almost deceptive. Loved that last chorus, Nik's backing vocals just added to it.
10/10 solid song in all aspects

They had Zakk Cervini on mixing and Chris Turner on drums. A huge step-up for Termina’s game.
Just checked out Zakk's discography and DAMN he's got some heat there. Excellent choice for them.
THIS is Termina finally reaching their full potential.
Dysphoria was a surprisingly excellent album for my expectations of two UA-camrs making a record, and really cemented Termina as a serious project in my eyes.
The songwriting was really excellent on Dysphoria, however I think the drumwork and mixing held it back from truly becoming top of the scene.
It wasn't bad by any means, but you could tell that they had a lot of potential and room to grow.
Everything about this is a step up. They're taking it really seriously now getting a pro mix and drum parts.
Andy has been a top-tier vocalist for a few years now, and he still kills it. The chorus gives me similar feels to the newest Monuments album, and that spicy high note at the end of the melody really sells it.
Nik's riffs really work well here, and I appreciate how detailed he makes the instrumentals without it sounding forced or pulling attention away from Andy.
Just enough to make it interesting and fun, but not subtracting from the song's vision.
I love that he did some background screams! It definitely adds something new to the sound that Termina didn't have before.
Chris absolutely killed it on drums. I love how he didn't add too much of his signature sound to the track - he did exactly what the song needed and gave it so much more life.
This is the Termina that people can take seriously and compete against other top bands in the scene. I am SO excited to hear the rest of this release.

Really love how they incorporated Nik's vocals in this one. It adds an extra layer that you didn't know you needed until you hear it. Also, very big Veil of Maya vibes on this one which isn't a bad thing by any means.
Goddamn Andy is like 12 vocalists in one, there's nothing he can't do it seems!

This track is dope, but Chris Turner on drums gave them the last push they needed, his influence is huge on this track. Cant wait for more.
Watching Nik's videos were what really got me into the metal community! It's been really cool to see him release an album and now doing backing vocals on such a cool song

Holy fucking fuck. Sorry, but holy shit, this is next friggin level from the boys. Just WOW. The production is excellent, the vocals (from both of them) are excellent, the background synth, the drumming, the guitar work, all excellent. I'm so excited for what's to come because daaaaamn. Andy's vocals are just an onslaught all the time, But he reels you back into vibe mode and hooks your ass back into the chorus. Absolute legends the three of them.
