What are your thoughts on whether students need to know how to graph a polar equation? The PreCalc teacher in our school has not taught them how to graph Limacons, rose pedals, etc, and I don’t know if I should spend a chunk of time teaching them that.
I think that your precalc teacher should be spending some time on graphing them! From a calc perspective, it's very helpful to students to understand how graphing polar works but I went through the MC exams from 2012 through 2019 and there were no polar graphing questions that were non-calculator. So...if I had a bunch of students who did not know how to graph the common curves I think I'd send them some videos to watch (here's my playlist of that: ua-cam.com/play/PLF35EF817EB13CA93.html) and definitely make sure they know how to graph on the calculator. (I really think it's advantageous to know how to graph the common curves, but I know BC is packed so this is the route I'd go.)
Thank you so so much for this video! This is the perfect kind of review of the concepts that I needed! Could you please make one on the other BC topics (especially series and sequences)? Thanks in advance!
Excellent.Quick overview for a revision...also your video on vector/parametric.Can you make one for the topic on series please?
exam is tomorrow morning! thanks for this
Got the AP in 6 days... this was a lifesaver
mood
Thank you so much for this! I have a test tomorrow and this helped clear up everything for me, god bless!

@@turksvids The link in your response takes me back to UA-cam's home page. I'm really curious of what's in the playlist
I think there was a parentheses messing it up:

Glad you found it helpful! I collected a lot of my review videos at this link: bit.ly/334WICD Maybe something there will be useful to you! Good luck!
@@turksvids Thank you so much!
thank you!
thanks

Aha, nothing like cramming for the exam. It's in about 2 weeks from now....
Plenty of time! You've got this!
