You sure that wasn't hiking along the spine of an alligator? Ha ha! Wow - the view from that gazebo thing and the rainbow! I've had Ash Meadows on my list - the roads look a bit gooey... The word for the guys that broke in at Ash Meadows is "Touron" - tourist / moron. I just don't get it. Oh Thrifty ice cream!!!

Drunk Touron, except that they live near by. I read quite a few articles about them and it sounded like one of the guys was particularly remorseful.

Hello, We have just started to watch your videos. Just love them. The contentes, narration, scenery etc etc. You are a lovely couple. We are an old couple from Delson, Quebec, we travel in a Roadloft, we even did an English video for the creators of this great kit. In one of your videos we saw you had the Monkey Ridge. We saw it on another youtuber."Life is too Short" I would love to get one but can't seem to find it other than the UK. Would you give me the information please if possible. Through your videos we are traveling to places that we would otherwise have never seen. Thank you for sharing. Happy safe trails and adventures. Regards from viewers from Canada. ❤️🇨🇦

Thank you so much. Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. We've been working on projects and I completely forgot to check my comments. Over the years, I have occasionally seen the Ridge Monkey on Amazon. But not in a long while. I bought ours from a dealer in the UK.
We are hoping to get to Quebec this summer and ride the Le P'tit Train du Nord with our friends from Ottawa.

Another method to contact the owner of a found iphone - Swipe up on the lock screen, on the "enter password" screen press emergency, then press medical ID. The owner's emergency contacts should be listed there.

Loved it. Thanks, I like to see unknown to me locations, but I love to see when you visit places I like very much. This time ash meadows and Longstreet motel / gas station. I have fond memories of this place, stayed there for a night in 2008 with husband, son and my late father. We had good food in the evening and they had live music, a country band with a very good lady singing. Farmers in their dungarees and cowboy hats made most of the audience. All were in good spirits.

Yes the Dow Villa has seen many changes over the years and yours had to be quite the memory. We stayed in the newer section and our neighbors were very into ‘magic mushrooms’ as they had flyers for their products to share. The husband was very proud to advertise his hot tub prowess in his super tight short shorts 😂 we called them the greeters. It was quite the treat 😉that’s an image we can’t get out of our minds. lol the fun part of traveling.

    Hi Debbie
We had a wonderful time in Death Valley driving over 1,300 miles in 5 days. We decided to travel light and leave our Travel Trailer at home. Stayed at the Dow Villa in Lone Pine and Stovepipe Wells Inn. We soon found out the drive from Lone Pine was exhausting but a great experience. We really enjoyed the diversity of Death Valley visiting all the highlights. We just ran out of time and couldn’t go to Ash Meadows but watched your awesome informative video. Thanks for being an inspiration to so many of us. Take care.

That's wonderful. You made me smile when you mentioned the Dow Villa. We stayed there once when our son was a baby. We comment about our night just about every time we drive by. The people next door argued all night, and outside it seemed like car doors kept opening and closing. We laugh about it now.

Thanks. Fortunately, our older grandson was there to keep the driveway cleared while our son attended a conference in So Cal. Biggest challenge is breaking down the wall of snow that the plows build in front of the driveway entrance. Our son couldn't get up the hill yesterday so had to spend the night in Folsom. But looks like he can make it back today.

Weld Tec has come a long way from his humble start. Generally simple and strong, durable, maybe over design, built to last, install once and done. Going with Weld Tec Baja on my Econoline next year.
So many places you show us, where few venture, yet it is open to everyone. Although you might be there during the "slow times", which is good to know, vacation place at an alternate time.
