    Feels like people in general get hurt or spend more time analyzing rude comments made on social media than if a random stranger insulted them while out at Starbucks.

      that's a great point! although i've definitely spiraled after bad interactions with random strangers too lol

    I really appreciate the way you speak with linear logic. There’s an entrepreneur who’s short statements I love on TikTok, but when I listened to his podcast, I felt like he would make claims that didn’t follow. I know speaking is an art and some people can’t articulate their thoughts well, but when you can, it tells me you really really know your stuff and really thought it through. I appreciate how contentious you are being with your content. Even though you’re not practicing law anymore, those years spent training your ability to reason paid off. What you’re doing now can be equally as valuable for society. Based on what I’ve seen so far, I know you’ll find a way to optimize your presence on social platforms.

    Great job analyzing and explaining Cece! You are always so poignant and accurate but also have good, relatable examples that make it easy to understand. You’re doing so well 💜

      ofc! the set-up is still far from perfect, but i’m trying to get comfortable with experimenting and iterating publicly. thank you for your feedback and patience!

    Have you read Robert Caro's books? He explores the idea that power reveals, not corrupts. His LBJ series is *chef's kiss*. Also, "The Power Broker" is an NYC read you might also like.

    I think influencers are very brave to enter into and nurture these grassroots-derived parasocial relationships. A demand like Benjamin's would send my mental state into a downward spiral for days. Heck, even a rando unfollowing me on my social media is kind of a letdown for me. A very intellectually stimulating post.

    Hey Cece, not sure it's necessary to hold the mic and obscure your face. A good mic with the input turned up should be able to capture your voice at good quality on the desk beside you. Or a lapelle mic, but they're lesser quality than a good condenser microphone.

      no way! okay, good to know--i'm getting an arm for it soon, so hopefully that just won't be an issue going forward, but thank you for the feedback! i watched it back too and cringed that i held it directly in front of my face, but there's always next time, right? thank you for your patience!

      @@CeceXie No problem - yes, an arm would work well I think too.

    I think the laws of attraction here are your easily fulfilled wishes that have been spread throughout your posts which I’ve come across for some time now. The algorithm, however, only recently narrowed. While lawyering was not like a show to you, I think I have the type of life that inspires the level of showboating you desire, like a criminal case masquerading as an eviction, serial killers, political affairs, corporate intrigue, double lives, however, everybody has to pause for reflection while they brush their teeth. It’s exhausting! Excitement is the leech of youth.

    I disagree. I know a lot about you in this relationship, but you know nothing about me (or us for that matter). Only a one direction relationship this is. I have more relationship with the chair I am sitting on. Lol

    • @CeceXie
      @CeceXie  Рік тому

      i can see that! maybe it's more so that my imagination of you is much more detailed than what i actually know about you--that may be more projection than a parasocial relationship, hmmm
