Preach Mercedes. Kim Jong-in has vocals that's rare, it can't easily be duplicated. People come for him because he sounds nasal but that's a part of his vocals having texture. SM would use Kai's voice to add texture to the main vocalists. Yes, they do people. They layer his voice to add sensuality, listen. When Kai and D.O. hit a note together it's magic. If you remove Kai's vocals from some tracks it would sound bland... a regular round note... Kai gives you a seductive smooth vibrato. You can't sleep on Kai no more, you have no reason people. He's not going to sound like a regular singer because he is unique. Period.

We might not have had the best year when it comes to exo as a group but individually for members it was a great year - sukai debuting as soloists after 8 years, sehun getting his first official solo song, baek being a million seller, yixing having his own company, chanyeol with so many projects (sc, ost, collabs), xiusoo's musical & military discharge. Even though professionally it was not a good year for jongdae but his personal life was filled with joy by this marriage & daughter's birth. I close to tears when I first saw the mv but the ending with xiusoo had my crying all out. KIM JONGIN REALLY GAVE US ONE OF THE BEST ALBUM OF THIS YEAR. I FEEL SO PROUD OF HIM.

I have been an exo-l since 2017. And from the beginning kai has been my mans, my bias, my holy king and no one had taken what I had dubbed the bias throne for over an hour. And I was really invested in their newer mvs cuz I was sooo ready. My freshman year...tempo was my first comeback as an exo-l. And i realized kai didnt have many lines. And I realized that a lot of the members had their own solos. And I wanted one for kai cuz hes so talented and his talent is often overlooked. I love his voice and his dancing and how much passion he puts into EVERYTHING he does and I was soooo angry he didnt have his own solo album. And then this year we all heard the news of the album and it finally came out and me and my friend (both in the same school, we have in person learning every other day) made a promise we wouldnt look at the mv till we were both in school to watch it. And I wanted to cry. Hes SO beautiful and his voice is just UGHHHHHHH and hes such a good dancer and hes got that charisma I love and and holy shit I'm ranting. Preach Mercedes. Kim Jong-in has vocals that's rare, it can't easily be duplicated. People come for him because he sounds nasal but that's a part of his vocals having texture. SM would use Kai's voice to add texture to the main vocalists. Yes, they do people. They layer his voice to add sensuality, listen. When Kai and D.O. hit a note together it's magic. If you remove Kai's vocals from some tracks it would sound bland... a regular round note... Kai gives you a seductive smooth vibrato. You can't sleep on Kai no more, you have no reason people. He's not going to sound like a regular singer because he is unique. Period.

Kai was my very first bias and has remained my bias throughout. He shut all the ANTIS up with this masterpiece and told them to take a seat and fact - check themselves. I'm so glad he got to showcase himself as more than "just the main dancer" of EXO. He is everything - the WHOLE package. We might not have had the best year when it comes to exo as a group but individually for members it was a great year - sukai debuting as soloists after 8 years, sehun getting his first official solo song, baek being a million seller, yixing having his own company, chanyeol with so many projects (sc, ost, collabs), xiusoo's musical & military discharge. Even though professionally it was not a good year for jongdae but his personal life was filled with joy by this marriage & daughter's birth.
I close to tears when I first saw the mv but the ending with xiusoo had my crying all out. KIM JONGIN REALLY GAVE US ONE OF THE BEST ALBUM OF THIS YEAR. I FEEL SO PROUD OF HIM.

When I first watched the video I couldn't even see anything because my eyes were blurry from crying so much. So many emotions all at once. I'm so proud of jongin and I'm happy that all his hard work is showing and is appreciated by many. Seeing how he has evolved from debut to now fills my heart with so much joy. I have been an exo-l since 2017. And from the beginning kai has been my mans, my bias, my holy king and no one had taken what I had dubbed the bias throne for over an hour. And I was really invested in their newer mvs cuz I was sooo ready. My freshman year...tempo was my first comeback as an exo-l. And i realized kai didnt have many lines. And I realized that a lot of the members had their own solos. And I wanted one for kai cuz hes so talented and his talent is often overlooked. I love his voice and his dancing and how much passion he puts into EVERYTHING he does and I was soooo angry he didnt have his own solo album. And then this year we all heard the news of the album and it finally came out and me and my friend (both in the same school, we have in person learning every other day) made a promise we wouldnt look at the mv till we were both in school to watch it. And I wanted to cry. Hes SO beautiful and his voice is just UGHHHHHHH and hes such a good dancer and hes got that charisma I love and and holy shit I'm ranting. Ooooooh this man makes me act so stupid sometimes. But yeah. To say I was excited and happy for him is an understatement. I canNOT put into words how I feel rn.
