Excellent video good instructions without unnecessary rabbiting. My machine struggled with the thick seams. I added a plastic squeeze clip fastener and gate off the Internet for an adjustable fit. Next time I will make pocket with flat seam and turn from bottom then twin over stitch.
Love it. Great idea for many celebrations. As I Fathers day. We have some girls from church we'll be making this tool belt for Father's day. Its our mentoring program.
Great idea and good video! I will change it a little I'm making tool belts for the 10-14 yo boys for Operation Christmas Child, and I was looking for a great way to use the rest of the jeans. All the top pockets on the jeans I'm turning into little purses for the girls this way I can use the whole jeans and plus I like your tutorial simple and easy to follow because I need to make 10 of these!
Really like the way you made this tool belt. Using the tape for loops is brilliant. I'm going to make one.
Thank you Debbie, this is a great tutorial which has just helped me make my grandson's Christmas present. I'll make one for my husband next!
A "humper-jumper" is very useful tool for going over thick seams like this
Thank you so much. My grandson has been asking for one

I just enjoy your video. :)
really cool video. thanks!
Great video! How do you tie the belt at the back though...? )
Just in a bow or knot, or you could add a couple of D rings...
Thanks for the answer, Debbie. Yes, I was too thinking to have it with the D rings )
This time I will do it manually with the help of Woodprix designs.
Good to know!
did you just tie it on, or add buckles to the belt?
+MegaGerkan Just tied this one, but a buckle or two D rings would work too...
Oh Debbie, have you lost your lovely sewing room and been banished to the garden shed!
Glenys Cooke Oh no, my sewing room is getting bigger! It is lovely sewing in the garden though, particularly on a lovely sunny day!
