This is what games should be like. I mean in terms of the level of artistic direction (not necessarily the actual aesthetics). I'll try to get it although I already have both the XBOX 360 and PS3 version... this just has to look lovely on the Switch o.o
I have the PS3 version of this. It's like a water-colored GOD OF WAR if you asl me. But still, I am having fun with this game. I would likely be getting this one. The downside is that I missed the ASIAN VERSION of this release, sadly.
I bought a copy for the PS3 a few months ago from a used game store but haven't had a chance to try it out yet. It does look like an interesting spin on the hack 'n' slash formula so I'm looking forward to checking it out at some point.
I played this game on release (on 360), enjoyed it immensely and I own it on PS3 now for the collection. I will say that the game does kind of drop some unexpected surprises later on, a few one off levels/segments that I really enjoyed. If you see yourself getting bored, stick with it, since it's usually not long before something new happens either aesthetically or mechanically. Def need to grab this eventually when I can afford it.
Really like the "set design" on this... It's got a distinct style that stands out from the crowd And I'm with you on the simplified controls Jordan, honestly I thought the SNES had to many buttons when I first played it!
I have this one Xbox 360 and completed it, and there seems to be nothing new in the Switch version, it looks pretty much identical I think, so right now I would not buy it but maybe if it's on sale for 20 bucks or something someday.
Many discredit Switch, but my opinion is, it is not the machine but the Devs. Games like Xenoblade Chronicels 3, Hogwarts Legacy and Megaton Musashi Wired proof that the Switch is still a great machine. Just look at Eiuyden 100 heroes, the Devs messed up the Switch version.
im no religious man by no means but this game is too nice it shouldve gotten a sequel i 100% recommend this game and i want it to have a second installment ik its unlikely that it will but i can at least dream 😌😌😌

When you say English, is it English audio or just English sub titles?
I was surprised at the release of this. I thought it was fun back then. Next up, a release of 3D Dot Game Heroes? 😁😁😁
That would be something. I guess it really depends on Atlas and possibly Sony, since that game came out on the PS3 back then.
@@leosungeryou could still find a copy on ps3 for a pretty decent price. One of my kids played my copy recently and looooves it.

Didnt knew El Shaddai had a switch port
They did nothing to advertise it lol
What a fever dream of an action game
Surprised they still remember it
I did order this one from Limited Run. Excited to actually get it months from now......

I believe I remember playing a little bit of this game on the 360 back when.

I saw the awesome box art for this when I was a kid and forgot all about this.

That has been my very first PS3 game

I bought the ltd edition! I remember this game not to be incredible on ps3 but for sure it was completely out there.... soo psychedelic!
It's a bit too bare-bones and simplistic gameplay-wise I think, but it's definitely playable. Not a must-buy, but an interesting one to show/share.
I had ordered the LRG version a good while back. I heard of it but never played it before
How does the performance compare to the ps3 version?
The link for the Asian physical doesn’t seem to work, are you sure this was ever a thing? Oh well, got the Japanese version instead.
It looks so amazing, but me traversing narrow bridges quickly will do me in.😂
I will try it but not today

Played it on Steamdeck and the Switch version is better.
So another botched PC port then? Lovely...
@@LUNCHMONEY4numbers the steam version is not recent, the graphics, the music, the performance all are topnotch on Switch Lite.

I have the Xbox 360 version. Should I be getting this on switch?
Is it good?
If you plan on keeping the 360 (or other compatible console) you don't really need to as far as I can tell.

Haha sounds like a relationship 😂
