Great clear video, I was able to spot my house after takeoff (6:49) at the water tower. I sometimes sit on my back porch and watch the planes fly over.
I’m going to be flying on my first A-350 in a few months, Lufthansa, Munich-Newark. Looking forward to it. I’ve already been on a few 787s; a little tight in economy, but very quiet during takeoff and cruise.
He didn't really "switch" frequencies early....he was still on the Tower freq. That happens....forgetting what frequency they are on or not paying attention and missing a change.
It is an Airbus, so they usually use the FLEX+XX setting (which can include TOGA but it is actually avoided for obvious reasons). I guess they've got a good FLEX (based on environment, weight of the aircraft, length of the RWY) which is close to climb power :)
Nah, that was just normal Flex. If it was Toga, you'd hear 3 detents. I only heard the 50% and the Flex. I've heard Delta A350 go actual TOGA several times before, they can scream much louder and higher pitch than this.

Alright! We’ll all fly to Hartsfield Jackson and party at your house! 😎🍺🎉😎
Best A350 sound I’ve heard
What a gorgeous sound.

Great stuff as always!
Thanks!
Awesome! ✈️
Theres something about that sound that makes me feel safe i sont know why
Yes because it’s fantastic!
Maybe because it means you're hurtling through the air at 600 mph with no way to stop

Sounds like Rolls Royce engines.

How are you getting the ATC audio?

I don’t think he even used TOGA as the power never reduced 2 mins after takeoff.

Sounds like a 777
777s are much more noisier
Woops!
hahah
5:06 TOGA

@@Odontomango True, this could be a FLEX+30 to FLEX+50, something about that, pretty close to climb power actually :D - which is very nice :)))

@@LAXTravelsLove to watch these videos, but do not trust no plane with just 2 engines.
@@PeterAnderson-z4y Tried a single engine one, yet? :)
