is that the norm for GT brush fly tying? I've seen other recipes using just fibers for the tails and no marabou collar at all. I'd be tying both ways, I'd just like to know. These flies really look killer!
Temujindengeki this is just how I do mine:) I have changed it slightly since I made this video . I now use artic fox in place of the marabou. I has more bulk and gives a better profile but keeps the movement! If you have a look at my Facebook or Instagram you will see the updated flies.
Hi I make them myself. using funky fibre and angel hair. the shop brought ones are just to short for what i use and generally have to much sparkle for what i want.

Really nice tie! There are many many brush fly how to's that does not obtain or illustrate the correct profile of a baitfish.
