I’m happy my grandson at 17 years old is studying and working, bought his own car and works hard. Does not ask money from his parents, my son too earns very well, finished his studies and took his masters knowing he can find a better paying job. He worked as a student too, this is in Australia.
Isn't a cancelled cheque cancelled? I know this very old but im Australian and people stopped using cheques here in the 80s. Ive never used a cheque and yes thats how cheque is spelt

I think in the US cancelled means cashed, not cancelled like the rest of the world would interpret it. And cheques are still widely used there
