    Wow, this is the BEST way I've ever seen to mark fabric to fit! I am a beginner & have never actually worked with a pattern before but this is GENIUS!
    I also have been upcycling t-shirts to make clothes for my goat & this method will make them fit so much better!

    What a Beautiful Black Satin Fabric!!! I always Iron it really good so as to polish the surface so it Looks and Shines Like Pure Perfect Liquid. And Feels So Incredibly Slippery Smooth That I Fall in Total Love With The Satin. 😍😍😍💗💗💗💋💋💋

    Hi! Thanks for this, it is very helpful. How do I get the length of strap needed for the shoulder?

    • @MsetFashionDesign
      @MsetFashionDesign  Рік тому

      Hi! You're welcome 💗.
      Measure it from the neckline all the way where it's gonna sit on your body to the side seam where it's gonna end, then add 1 cm from each side for seam allowance.

    Olá não entendi muito bem a parte de trás do vestido são duas partes iguais da saia ? É pra ficar embutido?

    • @MsetFashionDesign
      @MsetFashionDesign  2 роки тому +1

      Yes, You have to copy the skirt part of the front piece + the hidden waist for the back of the dress.
      Hope this helps 💗!

    how do you get such straight lines without using a T ruler?

    • @MsetFashionDesign
      @MsetFashionDesign  Рік тому

      💗, I keep ribbons straight and cross them at right angle, but if you have a T ruler that helps it's totally fine to use it.

    What if the satin is not stretchy?

    • @MsetFashionDesign
      @MsetFashionDesign  2 роки тому

      It's ok, in general the stretch will help the fitting to be more flawless, especially when we skip darts in a pattern.
      Using a non stretch fabric on the bias will also give it a bit of stretch.
      Hope this helps 💗.

    I have no experience with sewing AT ALL and I really wanted a dress like this I attempted to make this. It was a total disaster😂 yh I made the dress but halfway through I got so tired even tho I was restless. The crowd neck looks more like a crowd foot😂😂😂 I failed but atleast I tired it was both a great and horrible experience my fingers hurt😢

    • @MsetFashionDesign
      @MsetFashionDesign  Рік тому

      Aww💕, yes it's amazing that you actually tried it but if you never sew before start with smaller pieces like a top, trust the process and also enjoy the process and please do not hurt your fingers by hasting for the final result.
      I'm sure you can do it 💕💗.
