Brilliant stuff Neil. Your clever set up working a treat. 😃
Thanka Dave. It really works for stuff like this, but I need more practice with moving subjects!
Neil, What an excellent video, you managed to really capture the essence of the wildlife in your film. I loved the Fieldfares feeding on the berries.
I'm definitely going to start using a tripod from now on with my own filming. I can see from your footage, it looks 100 times better than my wobbly hand held effort. Looking forward to seeing your future films.
Thanks Martin, begrudgingly (at first) using a tripod and video head is the most important thing I did switching to video I reckon
Thank you for the wonderful footage. Pity about the soundtrack....
A really thoroughly fab watch. Love your uploads dude.
Nice video neil I really enjoyed watching some fantastic film making and editing
Thanka Nick. I reckon it was about nearly 20 hours of filming and editing :s
Well done on your perseverance, glad you got the SEO. I think that was the exact same place I saw my first one some years ago. 👍🤓👍
Thanks, yes for once it paid off. Then I went to Wallasea a week or so later and well...youll see in the next video!
Music a bit loud for me. Struggled to hear you at times, especially when talking to camera.
I only recently heard of fieldfares, they look very cool!
Amazed how much you saw before even getting in the reserve!
Thanks Jess and thanks for the feedback on the music, it is not always easy to gauge, so valuable ro know :). Should have had one my listen through b4 uploading!
Yes the seawall before it gets too busy can be great there, yet because i always visited after the reserve had opened, I rarely bothered going up there until recent years! Was always full of people and little Wildlife about when I did! Lol
excellent stuff I have just rejoined the marshes and hope to meet you, very enjoyable and informative
Thank you! And do say hello if you see me, you know what I look like now!
Some nice light on some of those images.
The footage of the upturned bill bird feeding was something I had never seen anything like before, so always something new for me on your channel
Yes the light was all over the place, but lovely first thing (if a bit 'side-lighty').
I was very please with the Avocet footage, tried to capture it before but never got it that well
