Finally a video of what really happens on a farm daily and not made for ytub crap lol
🤣🤣🤣
Hahahaha 😂😂😂, this was a blast to watch, 😂😂😂 Murphys law was at work in this video, 😂😂. Thanks for the laughs. See you later.
🤣🤣🤣
Oink oink bleet bleet. Im in tears Lol
WHAT ! a new gate Ross is getting extravagant all at once he has had too much Mountain Dew
🤣🤣🤣
Cows are a endless make work project
I had you nominated for an Oscar this year Ross, and thought you were a lock to win the Oscar for comedy! Well maybe next year
Liked the video great gate cows get crazy when you don't expect it and yes by the way you're not dumb!
Thank you!
Great video very entertaining, you probably wasn’t laughing but I was.😂👍🏻
🤣🤣🤣
Ross “you know where you’d have to go to get one of those”? Me , yes-the scrapyard. 😂
Oh the beloved Bovines, nobody knows or can understand what or why things pop into their minds but the never cease to amaze. Lol great video and the gate looks great too.
Nice gate upgrade. If you spend enough time around cows, you realize why we eat them.
😂
I agree... all of the tame cows seem to ware out my affection before they go no the one way trip.
Best comment I've seen today. Yes, I have been around cattle. No, I don't miss it.
The same can be said for hogs.
Exactly 🤣
Great video Ross and with that fancy new gate it just proves "you can't hide money" LOL
🤣🤣🤣
If you achieve nothing else Ross at least you have a good following of hilarious comments !
🤣🤣🤣
I just bought a Ford tractor with a loader, The first thing I am doing is getting the fuel system fixed up so it runs nicer. The second thing I am doing is getting a Skid loader Quick Attach made for it. Pin on buckets and stuff is stupid these days. Chain on bale spears just make me furious coming loose on bumps. I can share the information on how I am building it and I plan on making some videos of the process. I am just fed up of pin on pallet forks, buckets, and bale spears. Its 2024 and its my last year of the fight! Send me a message if your interested in the information for where I bought my universal adapter pieces to weld together and make it.
👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you!
Ross, hopefully that gate will last for many years 🤣🤣🤣 unless the cows have something to do with that? Thanks Michael
They’ll try for sure 🤣
You’re right, that’s a good old gate. Just like those multiple key switches were still good you replaced. They still held a key, who cares if it didn’t start the tractor. 😂
🤣🤣🤣
Ross, you never fail to be entertaining 😄
With winter coming to and end they must be feeling more friskier, always a challenge
Yeah spring gets them all worked up 🤣
I'm starting to worry about you son! 😆
🤣🤣🤣
Nice gate!! Cows are so smart if they see a gate open there gone!
It’s one thing to ride the Struggle Bus but it’s totally different if you’re Driving it..🙄🙄
Love your videos ❤
🤣 Thanks Hugh!
Oh my god As soon as I realized they were taking off I started to laugh and then you tipped the ring over and I almost fell out of my chair. It’s good to see it’s not just me. Mine involves inches of mud but the same things happen. Lol😂
Gate chain goes through hole first, tension on gate pulls chain into slot.
Cool Thanks!
nice new gate
Thanks!
That old gate needs to go to the scrap yard, it could be the start of unhoarding tendencies! Lol!
🤣🤣🤣
Great looking gate Ross.
Thanks Robert!
The great Ollie roundup at the end brings some flashbacks to earlier days of myself
Awesome!!
Nice color, reminds me of way back when some guy in a straight truck would show up on the farm with gates stacked sky-high on it.
Give dad a box of pens. Pens were plastic octagon shaped with company name.
I would rub real fast and then twist into different shapes.
4 nick 8 the old gate like then pens and have a great day
Just spray paint that good gate and put it on Craig’s list as rebuilt 😂😂
Nice video Ross. That is still a good gate. A little torch and welding program and you could get another ten years out of it. Nice to hear all of the animals are doing well.
🤣🤣🤣 Thanks Keith!
Your conversation about that old gate defines the meaning of "facetious" totally. 😊 Iowa Country Girl found a new gate latch someone invented, I was impressed.
I need to catch up on her videos. I haven’t watched any for awhile. Thanks Dan!
Gaucho wire and hanging gates, two of my favorite sports
🤣🤣🤣
I see your cows act just like mine do, seems like the more good you try to do for them, the more they try to fight you. Oh well if it was easy everyone would be doing it.
Nice choice of hammer we usually end up finding an appropriate weighted stone for the job as usual an entertaining video
One video with several uses for a Sweedish nut rounder!!
Great success!!
Thanks 🤣
the great gate video cool
I don’t know why a fellow would even want to replace that fine gate. It’s got another ten years in it I bet. Lol
🤣🤣🤣
BUDDY!!!!! 😊. Hello to you to, Ross!! 😊
Thanks Donald!
You coulda bought a 16 footer for me..... I cant talk myself into buying one. No one saw the plow on the trailer did they?🤣🤣
🤣🤣🤣
We, back when the kids had 4H cattle projects, got the big cattle guard drive-over gate that I had built for the oil field company I worked for. I made it out of 4.74" diameter drill stem with about 1/2 inch wall thickness. They were planning on crossing a cattle lot that had a small ditch crossing it that the farmer hand-fenced to keep his cows out of it. The gate worked well, but the well was a dry hole so we, as in I, retrieved the 18' x 8' humongous heavy gate using the big winch truck. Being we had the cows the gate migrated to our place and was installed to keep the bovines on their side but we could drive across without having to open and close a gate. We had an Angus heifer that was bulling around at the same time as the kid's Charlois heifers. The guy who sold them the Charlois had agreed to come and AI the heifers when they were ready. The only semen he had in stock was from a National Grand Champion Charlois bull. While he was doing the Charlois he did the Angus heifer.
One of the Charlois prolapsed at delivery and the vet sewed her back up, our daughter was up to her elbows pushing the lady cow parts back in while the vet did the sewing, and 2 weeks later she removed the lasso stitching. Her calf did not survive and she went to market. The Angus delivered the best-looking bull calf that was a nice darker than normal Charlois calf. That thing was fun to watch but he kept getting out of the pasture. He would run at the cattle guard gate and jump over it. luckily he would simply come up around the house wanting one of us to come out to be with him and walk him back through a people gate. We did have Charlois getting out and I would get a call from the neighbor that we had cows out. One day I caught them escaping. The danged horses were running the cows and the cows were simply jumping over the fence. Being those 2 horses were dangerous for anyone to try to ride we sold them and the saddles.
Hang on to that old gate, I see a lifetime of exhaust parts for the multitude of various equipment you have surrounded yourself with😅
🤣🤣🤣
Nice video Ross. Good upgrade on the gate it looks really nice. Cows always make farming interesting.
That’s for sure! Thanks Larry!
I had a wheel on a gate once. The wheel turned abit and started digging a trench, pretty soon the gate was dragging on the ground. A complete failure.
That sounds like my luck 🤣
Sounds like the frogs are awake down there. We're looking at 67 degrees today. I might get stuff around to get oats in. We used to set round bales on top of a hill and give it a shove. It would unroll and the sheep would clean it up and spread manure at the same time. 😂😂😂
It definitely makes short work of unrolling 🤣
You got it nice down south! It’s a nasty snow storm up here today!
I don’t think I could live up north 🤣
Another hilarious video, good job on the gate.
Thanks Bob!
Yep, it could be a good time of the year for a spring cleanup. Perhaps you could advertise that 'perfectly good' gate that now have in your surplus stash. :)
🤣🤣🤣
Why do I get the feeling somewhere on the farm there's a push lawnmower sitting with three wheels🤔
🤣🤣🤣
Everything is a hammer 😂😂😂
🤣🤣🤣
my sister in law had just bought a brand new car and showed up at the farm with the car having less than 20 miles on it first thing that happened was a cow took a fulls speed headbutt into the car setting off all airbags and leaving a massive dent a foot deep in the door that cow was steak by the next morning
That cow probably saw its reflection in that shiny car.
@@darweb3417idk what it saw but it sure was hell bent on killing whatever it was with how much damage that car had done to it
I bet that was a pleasant exchange 🤣
Ross fence builders in action!
🤣 Thanks John!
Nice hope excess
Thanks!
I find whenever working with or on something painted John Deere green, a hammer is an indispensible tool.
That's funny. But I have honestly watched my father in law beat the crap out of a IH planter because he was tired of its crap. They all have issues
🤣🤣🤣
I never realized cows are such a pain.
cows are like lonely dogs; always come around to see what is going on and standing in the wrong place and being a real pain.
They can be cantankerous creatures 🤣
1 thing you can count on: cattle destroying anything and everything
So true!!
my cows have that same genetic anamoly with open gates
Your going to lose that rustic appearance by replacing that gate. Hope you took a pic for memory sake.
🤣🤣🤣
Alittle gate humor
We know where all that UA-cam money is going. Just replacing like new gates all willy nilly like now
I'll have a steak in your honor...
Surely you jest
With all those six cylinders on your farm you'll be better off getting a fuel tank Dum 6 cylinder gas jobs I'll pass everything except the gas station
The bigger ones are pretty thirsty for sure.
They like their gas I had an 806 international thing was strong sounded good but almost couldn't afford it
Yeah I love watching your show I'm watching it right now as we speak you have luck like mine 0 to none
WELDER IT UP !!!!👍👍👍👍 But I think your smart enogh to 💩💩can it !!
🤣🤣🤣
