- Naheed Akhtar is a famous Pakistani playback singer. After getting discovered by musician M Ashraf in the mid-1970s, she became a well established artist and one of the most famous singers in Pakistan. Firstly she was working at Pakistan Television, but afterwards she became more interested in building a career as a film playback singer. She gave number of hits while singing for Pakistani films in the 1970s and early 1980s. Listen to this beautiful songs in her voice.

In 1978 I use to listen this and other beautiful/soulful songs on Lahore radio . So nice to have got chance to listen such a nice song after so many years .

I had been listening Pakistan Radio since 1975. I was 18 years old. That time Radio was only mean of News and inertainment. I found, that the music and Sher were touching and lovely. After a long gap now am 62. Now I can enjoy with Smartphone. I am listening to Naheed Akhtar this time though this is early morning 6 AM of 2018 Jan. I am the resident of Uttarakhand, India.

Naheed is a very good singer I have been listening to her songs since early 80s on Radio Pakistan. There was a contemporary of Naheed during that time I am not remembering her name she was equally good singer, and ofcourse Madam Noor Jahan will always be on TOP.
