I might be wrong, but I don't think 3.73 gears were available. That is a GM ratio. My recollection is Chrysler offered 3.23, 3.55, and 3.91 in the Dart. My first brand new car was a 1970 340 Dart, ordered to spec: black/black, stripe delete, dog dish, RWL Goodyears, factory dealer-installed hood pins, rear window defogger. It was a great car. I tried to be responsible by ordering the 3.23 rear to keep me away from drag racing, but the high gear allowed me to cruise at 90MPH. So much for being responsible.
One of the many my father purchased new....ours in blue/blue lighter blue rear deck stripe (no spoiler) 340 4 spd hurst shifter, carpet delete, a/c delete but p/s p/b if I'm remembering it correctly.....$2700.00 straight out of the showroom...sticker was $3000.00. Fast car but one of many we had and my sister and her husband bought it a couple of years later. Glad to see this one be a true one with the flat black hood and scoops/hood pins!
My cousin had one of these only in blue…same thing 340/4spd….would stay right up with my ‘69 Roadrunner 383/4spd
