i just bought a 7530 with an i7 8750H and the P2000 for 300 euros after seeing your unboxing video, and i absolutely love it. Big step up from my latitude e6430 that got me through university. Its a shame dell got rid of the e-port for docking stations when they moved on to 7th gen processors, but thats how it goes. .
@@petertaylor4758 yeah you can, but its just not the same. Thunderbolt docks cost a lot more and offer fewer ports. I prefer clipping a laptop into the dock (which can be mounted to the desk) rather than using a cable. From my experience the e-port can easily survive over 10 years of daily docking and undocking, i just dont see the usb-c connector lasting that long. There were also some cool accessories that clipped to the e-port on the bottom of the laptop and extended the battery capacity or added more ports, like a mobile dock that stays clipped to the laptop.

Jorge, I have a similar workstation like yours, with i9 processor, 128gb of ram with 2666mhz, one nvme of 1tb and 6gb Nvidia Quadro card. It's the best computer I had, the performance is amazing and it has nothing to envy to Mac computers. With half or less money you can get a powerful computer, without spending thousands of dollars for a Mac. That's the bottom line (cause Stone Cold said so 🤣)
how is the battery life for you? do you keep it plugged in or take it more on the go? Im looking into a new laptop for my engineering degree but I don't know whether not having an integrated graphics card will decrease the battery life significantly or not

@gojiraforbreakfast that's not true it's equivalent to the gtx 1050 ti , I'm using a quadro p2000, and it can run most games at 1080 60 fps , about 60 fps on palworld and 120_200 fps on cs2 different from map to map because the game is shit.

I have this laptop with 32GB RAM and P3200 graphics card, but the speed of the system is very slow, from the boot speed to the speed of working with software. The boot speed takes more than 17 seconds, the speed of working with software such as Photoshop and even Windows Explorer is very slow to open and load. What is the problem? Please help if you have a solution. The battery is only broken, that is, the battery does not work, I have to connect it directly to the power to work, of course I set the power settings not to work with the battery, but the speed is still very slow. May be a late reply but hope it helps. That problem shouldn't happen cause of the battery or not having one while running it. Try opening it and cleaning out the vents and around the fans. It may be due to a heat related problem that's slowing down your laptop, though it may not show by throttling. May be that your cpu and gpu are due for a new thermal paste application. Also go into your setting on your laptop and turn off any applications that start up when you boot your laptop as well any other things that run in the background that can away from performance. Like email refreshing, messaging apps, pretty much anything that refreshes in the background that you really don't need till its used. Especially in an older laptop that any newer applications may slow down the not so up to date hardware
Jorge, you did the same as me I buy without a hard drive and ram I will use my own stuff I will use windows 10 pro also I just got the 4k screen for 59.99!! took off the fhd one that you have I installed it with no problem! I just got this laptop for 300 I installed gskill 128gb ram and the fastest 1tb Samsung 990 m.2!!! this is better than most laptops today for 2023 you can also update the video card on it as well with the 3070ti 8gb for 159.99!!! This is like a desktop I love how you can update everything Jorge this laptop is not old yours was made in late 2019 almost 2020 laptop is not old till 7 years

You probably need to take it apart and apply new thermal paste to GPU and CPU and clean dust out of fans.
