When your driving yours, does it hsssh just in normal gears. I just put my on and my bolts broke had to drop the whole intercooler Now when I’m driving it just releasing air like I have a flat tire
Nice vid. Question I have is if you are not under the boost release, and the opening to make this vent to atmosphere, could this allow dirt to be sucked into the intake after the air filter?

I have a TurboSmart SS BOV and I want to revert to the stock configuration with the Boomba adapter. From the vid it looks like you need the adapter plus the OEM pressure relief valve? Are there any other components attached to the IC that is part of the OEM system? Appreciate the help!
What you mentioned is all you will need to make the Boomba blow off adapter work. Assuming the TurboSmart BOV retains the factory IC tubing, large c clip and factory connections, just the oem pressure release valve and Booma adapter is all you'll need to revert back to stock. Nothing else is on that side of the IC thats needed.
@@Goat18D The TS SS BOV design taps into the factory vacuum line and utilizes soft hoses instead of the oem plastic and rubber hose. The result is a loud sprinkler noise constantly emanating from the truck. TS should have included a throttle body space with ports where the vacuum line can be attached to. Overall for the price point and the lack of initiative/ support from TS lead me to replace their BOV.
@@Goat18D I went with the BOV from Go fast Bits. Highly recommended! Superb quality, better than TS, cheaper and retains the factory electronic BOV function. In short, it functions both as an electronic BOV and a mechanical one. The sounds is not as loud as the SS but i was experiencing issues with the TS one in terms of shudder and lag. When I uploaded this i had the factory 35s BFgoodrich All-Terrain KO2's. I just recently upgraded to 37's General grabber x3. Upload a video on those soon.
Aside from saving around $65 the only difference I noticed is that with this blow off valve adapter it is noticeably louder and an all around cleaner install.
How are you getting it to build boost in park? I have a different set up with the plug on the hose but makes the same sound but i cant get it to release in park or neutral.

Ive had it for 1.5yrs and 10k miles on and offroad and haven’t had any codes pop up. I haven’t had any issues with the truck needing anything under warranty so I can’t speak on that matter.

Does the truck require being tuned
No tune required. Have had it on my truck for over a year now , 15k plus miles later absolutely zero problems.
Installed mine a couple days ago and notice cold start hisses pretty loud for 30 seconds or so..is that normal?

It works for both of the 3.5 ecoboost engines.

I dont know bud, mine builds boost in park or neutral every time. Possibly its just the plug mod vs an actual valve?

If your Gen2 Raptor is stock. No modifications are needed. It is a direct bolt-on application.
