Personally I think I want a big swing and a miss than the steady stream of movies that are trying to play it safe by appealing more to nostalgia than experiment. Otherwise they'll never contribute anything to the film medium and the more mediocre movies succeed over better movies the more creative decisions are going to be made by businessmen making "smart investments"
