Yea he lost me with that one, that movie still holds up strong to this day wish the series reflected the movie more better suit designs, a strong storyline all the way throughout the movie, good fight scenes you really felt the pressure of what was at stake. I’m a grown man now far from my childhood and I’d sit down now a days and watch it all the way through

To be fair about Matt: He's like everyone's third favorite Green Ranger in a 3 Green Ranger System. The first two are different versions of Tommy. So I see why he has a complex about it.
Yeah but I like Matt. He was introduced in Go Go Power Rangers as Kim's first boyfriend and he broke things off with her because he know she was hiding something and wouldn't come clean to him. Plus I like the look of the upgraded Green Ranger and Dragonzord which leans even MORE into the Godzilla homage.

@@noaharthur9041 Honestly? Start with Mighty Morphin Power Rangers #1. These comics tend to build off of each other and stuff introduced in earlier issues tend to come back in later.
You can also read Go Go Power Rangers which focuses on the team just after they become rangers while MMPR takes place right after the events of Green With Evil.

Are you sure the dragon thunderzord existed back in the day? Dragonzord never combined with the thunderzords in the show.

They actually did that fight in season 2 of Mighty Morphin. I believe it was 3 parts episode called Return of the green ranger. It's really really good and 1 of the best and 1 my favourite episodes 🤍💚

The Boom comics are awesome. You gotta think, a lot of us grew up in the 90’s, so these writers are trying to cater to an audience that has grown up. I think they’ve done a great job with these books.

8:10 drakkon shattered the morphin grid which gave Kiya special powers (not morphin powers but like super soldier serum-esk powers) which caused her to overflow with energy and accidentally kill her family, that's why she hates drakkon.

1:30 Rob i will not tolerate power rangers slander 😂 power rangers definitely didn't peak with mighty morphin. However i remember a dip in quality in the second season Zeo the Turbo movie is good and there are many great episodes across Turbo, in Space, Lost Galaxy, Lightspeed rescue, Time Force, Wild Force, SPD, Dino Thunder, Mystic Force, Jungle Fury and Operation Overdrive and I'm even missing some. To be fair i have not seen every single episode of the series i just mentioned, it was a weird time for tv I'm 22 and never got to watch each series start to finish on tv, and the dvds are hard to come by. But I'm currently watching Time Force and i have Operation Overdrive on dvd and watched it many times and they're both great i think they're both quite better than the original Mighty Morphin (MM) series. The original series has A LOT of filler i have it on dvd and i actually found an essential episode article on google which makes MM a much better watch.

I loved most of the recent movie, even the fact that Rita Repulsa was initially the FIRST Green Ranger. I would have loved to see her turn a different kid into a new secret Green Ranger, as well as seeing Lord Zed be another initial Ranger gone rogue, but oh well. There was talk about more Ranger movies, and I hope they do, but I doubt that will happen. I HATED seeing Goldar being a giant golden mess of a monster, though lol that was stupid

🙄 So…Jason, Zack, and Trini went and became Omega Rangers when the show took the characters out with the “earth peace summit”, (the comics did the Omega rangers for them instead) and the Alien girl, who was freed by Drakkon, was the blue Omega Ranger but betrayed the other three. She was kicked out and imprisoned, and replaced by a alien Tiger.
And Grace and Promethea aren’t really “government liaisons to the power rangers”, more like the government trying to do what the power rangers do because Grace doesn’t trust Zordon because of her past with him, her being a former power ranger herself(she was the red ranger) and her team all died(which IS the team that haunts Zordon because he sent them to face against Psycho Ranger Green, which was stupid of him but he did and it haunts him). She never really trusted Zordon and make Promethea to being the government’s version of the power rangers, where she made the new green ranger(Matt) and with Billy’s help(behind Zordon’s back) made a new dragonzord and tech for promethea.
Aisha ACTUALLY has a crush on Matt, she didn’t do anything about it because Matt and Kim used too date, so during their fight, it was a lot tougher on her BECAUSE of the romantic feelings, and the feelings of being secondary rangers.
The Thunder Dragonzord was a comic only thing…so no, there wasn’t any guy out there who had all the girls because of that(not that you would, everyone at every age thought if you liked power rangers, you were a dork 🤣🤣🤣)
I’m only correcting you because I REALLY feel like you need to read the past issues and story arcs, you getting a lot of information wrong. So yes, you should cover death ranger, but you should cover it all!! It’s all REALLY GOOD!!

Will depend on the target audience for the reboot. These comics seem to be for people who grew up with the shows, but are older now. It's a lot of dealing with the results of life, instead of how to live it.

I’m gonna get hate for this, but I still prefer Tommy being associated with the Green Ranger power. Yes, Tommy as the White Ranger was pretty cool at first, but when I delved into his character, he still had that 'bad boy' persona that didn’t really fit with that color. And he was also better as a lone wolf/independent Ranger instead of being a leader of the team. I’m sorry, but that’s just how I viewed him in my perspective.

I would take Tommy as the green ranger and using Dragonzord over any! Other ranger and power set. Others may wield the power but no one else would be as iconic and as the power set it's self is.

Bro there was no such thing a the Dragon ThunderZord back in the day, it was created for this comic, there was the Dragon MegaZord from their original zords and the thunder zords came as their second set of zords. The dragonzord never got the thunder zord work over like the rest of dinozords, the tigerzord replaced it, although it would've been awesome if the dragonzord got the thunderzord makeover and turned in TOR the shuttlezord the ultrazord of thunderzords, they've perfect matching colours.

The actors who played Trini, Zach, and Jason were screwed over by Saban. Which is why they left. It was really messed up and the history of it is nasty. Sadly Trini's actress passed away so she never got a chance to return.
