Payo event: "he died because someone went afk" lol no Payo's death is 100% his own fault. Paying zero attention to the group and the chats. There is zero blame on someone who needs to go afk, warning their group that they are afk, and then being afk. There is all the fault on someone not paying attention to the group because they're selfishly alt-tabbing duo accounts for stream content.

Xaryu might just be the most wholesome dude ever.
My favorite Pokemon game is definitely the Fire Red/Leaf Green, I never got into any of the newer games and it was nice to have an updated version from what I played back in the day. Squirtle was always my favorite Pokemon just from like a character perspective, but I would say Kadabra (or Alakazam if I could trade) was my big powerhouse Psybeam juicer.
I was such a weirdo as a little kid my favorite was Magmar (saw it in the show and then had to hunt it down on that island later on in Pokémon Blue)

I don't get payo. If this happens just leave the group and either jump down and hearth or just jump down and run until timer runs out, if you do it that way everyone else will also have time to leave and get ported out or hearth out. I don't get it.

Pokemon is mainline games, spin-off games, card games, mobile games, rebranded table-top games, merchandise, TV shows, movies, books/comics, etc. All together, definitely biggest game IP, but I don't know about mainline game anymore /shrug Pokemon Blue/Red through D/P/Emerald was tiiight back in the day

If you are not in a group the game automatically tp you out of the dung aftet 1 min, so considering that he run for almost 3 mins he could have survive

Sometimes people have to go afk. People need to piss. Not the paladin's fault if Payo doesn't read. People say Payo dies on purpose but I don't think that's true. I think he just really doesn't pay attention much.
This is why i don't like Payo, dude is calling that pallie a loser and piece of shit. Is tabbed out and that was 100% his fault not the pallies.

IDK man. I think by the time youre 30 you probably don't put as much thought to things outside your sphere. Source: me, a guy who is 30 and used to love pokemon but doesnt care at all or keep up with it anymore.
How many 30+ year olds still pay attention to pokemon? Most of us were over that shortly after we got to middle school because girls and puberty. I haven't heard a mention of it since the mobile game which was popular with everyone at work for like a month.

I mean daily active users doesn't really work for a franchise that encompasses all kinds of products. WoW is WoW. People logging in and playing is most of what the IP is about.
Pokemon has been huge ever since its inception, it's the biggest franchise in history and just last year, the new Switch games became the fastest selling (and most refunded lol) games ever on that platform. I know maybe a handful of people playing WoW at the moment. I know a lot more people who play all the pokemon games and even more people (mainly women) who buy anything Harry Potter related.
WoW seems huge to us bc we're already part of the niche audience. Bigger franchises have mainstream appeal, though.
Pokemon Go playerbase last 30 days 75 million what's wow at again? 1 million? Maybe less ? 12 at its peak? It's not even fucking close they make more off of pokeballs in the cash shop than wow in its totality until the end of time

I love how Xaryu is always like "As a fire mage" as if Fire Mage isn't still stronger than 90% of all specs in Classic. If you said "As an Arcane Mage" then it might actually mean something lol.
Mage is definitely one of the strongest classes, has the most tools for escape, but it's also the squishiest. There are pros and cons with every class, but if you get caught without enough mana or your cooldowns, you're just dead. Arcane mage is indeed "playable" but has much less defensive choices for when shit goes wrong so it just becomes even more of a deathwish.

I love how people somehow feel offended by those simple words as if he attacked them personally. He emphazises "as a fire mage" because he did it already as an ice mage! So yea, comparitively it's a bit harder. He wants to challenge himself and also wants to keep the tension high as a narrative for the stream. He doesn't compare it to warriors, he knows they suck and have their own challanges, which mages would overcome easily. But it doesn't even matter. Just because one class is maybe the strongest, doesn't mean it can't experience difficult situations. You choose the difficulty yourself while questing and can make it ifinitely harder, doesn't matter how op you are, so the argumnent "mage is the strongest anyway" to discredit every single archievement is stupid.
