This is a noob question, but is the USB connectivity better than the standard pole connector? A while ago, I purchased a Logitech USB headset and the volume was so terribly low that I had to install extra software just to get it to behave alright and it was such a headache to get setup that I don't use it anymore. This might have been an issue of that particular headset or my mobo, etc, but it does give me pause purchasing any kind of A/V equipment using USB.
