If it is stone, it could very well a fossil. It was found then venerated. This was always what I thought. But I always wondered why the bad guy in these stories bore the likeness of the most important monument in Eternia.

I had only Zodak from the vintage collection. A few years ago I started to get those 5.5" Super 7 figures, then later I found a guy that sold vintage figures in a kinda garage-sale here im Brazil.
I was fully onboard when Origins was released here, got the book with all mini-comics, some funko, and now I will get the new castle in April - it is on pre-release here. I am really happy to understand not only the toy origin that I got from the Netflix show, but also the actual story of it. Very nice, thank you.

I love all the lore for my favorite childhood series that gets expanded upon with this stuff. I hear a lot of the term "play patterns" thrown around. I don't know about all of that, but when I was a little kid, my friend and I used to pretend that I was He-Man, and he was King Randor, and we'd get in the time machine (his swing set) and jump off into the past to make friends with Skeletor before he turned evil. I think we might have been inspired by episodes of the 80's series like "Evilseed" where everyone teamed up to fight a bigger threat, or something. But they were fun times. Weird how I can remember little moments like that, but I can't remember what I had for lunch today. I think I might be getting old or something...

I've read that some in-house sculptors at Mattel tried to make Grayskull more Edwardian in design during the prototyping stages of MOTU, before Mark Taylor said "NOPE!" and sculpted the prototype we're familiar with today. For masters of the universe. I think there are mysteries that do need explaining. Like how did Hordak become evil? I always saw him as a Sauron Character who believed the Universe should have order. There is also the missing memory of how Eternia's sister planet Etheria fell to Hordak. A cool thing that could be done in a new He-Man movie or show is when Hordak was banished to Despondos all the worlds he conquered were also banished there as well including Etheria making Hordak's power that terrifying. The Biggest mystery to me is who is Skeletor's mother. All we know is that she is a Gar and the Human Eternians are racist to Blue People. An Interesting way to flesh out that mystery is is to know who King Miro is as a person. From what I got from the comics is that he seems to value Randor more than his eldest son Keldor. I would also like to know what was the relationship that Miro had with his wife knowing that he had conceived a child with a different woman. My take would be the same as Lady Stark's cold shoulder to Ned. This is a cool idea that I imagined. I like to imagine that the Gar Witch Shokoti from the 80's cartoon is actually Keldor's mother. Before King Miro married his wife he met the Witch during his travels and she Seduced him. Five years later Shokoti enter's Miro's castle to present him with his firstborn Son Keldor and asked him to raise Keldor as a means for her to gain power and control of Eternia through her Son. And Keldor's knowledge about Hordak and Magic first came from his mother that he would later dive deeper into as he got older. An interesting part writers can also add in that during Eternia's Great Wars with Hordak and King Hiss. The Blue Skinned Gar were worshipers of Hordak and were on his side until his intentions were revealed to them which cause many of the Gar to reject the Dark Lord, but not enough to be redeemed in the eyes of the Human Eternians who only see the Gar as Traitors and Devil Worshipers. Something interesting in explaining in why are the Gar so distrusted with the Human Eternians.

I actually had an audio cassette and storybook that gave an account of how Castle Grayskull was built. All I really remember is it was boring. Nowhere near the fun of the record that came with Point Dread. I really don't know who made it. I got it and another for Christmas one year. I don't even remember what the other one was about.
