My favorite Christmas movie is Max Lucado's The Christmas Candle. I look forward to it every year. As cheezy as it sounds, I watch Rick Steves' European Christmas every year too. It's great for little ones to learn about Christmas in other countries!
When it comes to christmas movies it is "Its a wonderful life" every time and i also love and go back to "The ghost and Mrs Muir"(from 1947,Rex Harrison and Gene Tierny, love them so much),maybe not a christmas movie but gives the same wholesome, comforting vibe... Warm hugs coming your way🎄🕯🧵🪡🎀
Little Ruth is just too adorable in her fleecy bear snowsuit. She stole the show! My favorite Christmas movie is National Lampoon's Christmas vacation. We always get a kick out of Cousin Eddie.
That tree you bought was really beautiful 😍 I think led lights are a lot brighter I agree but they are so pretty. Great information as well, as a mother I feel stressed when my house is cluttered that’s for sure
It is so much easier to relax when the home is cozy and clutter-free, I agree! Hard to achieve here most days but it's worth the effort! lol! Thanks for watching!
We got a new tree(s) from Menards as well this year for the same reasons. We have a smaller house but it’s an open floor plan so we got two pencil trees that are also pre-lit, which I was on the fence on, since we have so many strings of lights from our previous tree. I was cheering on Baby Ruth as she was trying to roll over and that bear suit! Adorable. We are fans of A Christmas Story but we are biased as I was born and raised and still currently live in a suburb near Cleveland, Ohio. I just started working in downtown Cleveland when that movie was filmed and my parents were raised in the same neighborhood that Ralphie and his family lived, so now we enjoy the nostalgia of that movie. And the department store in the movie kept most of the decor so for years after, it was brilliantly decorated. Sadly, now it’s a casino. Oh well…memories. Just commenting on this video thinking of all of that makes my heart warm. Sorry for rambling on, here. 😊
Don't be sorry at all, LOVED hearing that story! So neat! Sad to hear that store is now a casino but that must've been SO COOL! I'd love to step back in time and see it in it's glory days! Thank you so much for sharing!
❤Thank you for a fun video to watch while I eat breakfast and cook lunch. Christmas decorating started early this year when there was a sale on a giant nutcracker with Bluetooth speaker. It’s on the porch now, but soon will be entertaining students at my husband’s school with among his holiday decorations.
Thank you! I can't wait to layer it with a sweater too! It's new at my shop: shoprustichoney.com/collections/new/products/very-j-women-long-dress-fp-7c045
Your channel was recommended by your friend Jennilee of the Pioneer Home and I know I am going to enjoy your videos as well. My favourite Christmas film is also It's a Wonderful Life!
Thanks so much, I'm so glad you liked it! It’s a wonderful life is my probably my favorite movie ever! I’ve already watched it once this season 😆 So glad you’re here!
@@rustichoney It's the beautiful story of the birth of Jesus from Mary's perspective on how she fell in love with Joseph...it is a great movie for all the family...the production details are superb, but spoiler alert: it does sbows the birth of Jesus, so, if you have small children it can provoke questions about how children are born...(they don't show any body parts, though, but you do see Mary in labor)...it's so real, I get teary everytime I see it, and I've been watching it for the last 6 or 7 past years...
My favorite Christmas movie is House Without a Christmas Tree. It was made in 1972 and is based on the book by Gail Rock. Worth hunting it down if you like period movies. It takes place in the 40s. I have it on DVD, because I won't get rid of my dvds 😂...
Love to hear that! Sewing can be so fun! I have this Brother machine (not sure if it's perfect for quilting but it's a great all purpose machine! I've had it since 2020 I think): amzn.to/3Zf5Imk
It was from Menard's www.menards.com/main/holiday-decorations/christmas/trees-greenery/enchanted-forest-reg-7-5-prelit-grand-empress-fir-artificial-christmas-tree/m24-9158/p-1642874314297931-c-12297.htm?exp=false
Yes, it's a bluetooth speaker. I sold these in my shop for Christmas last year but haven't been able to restock. Looks like amazon has a very similar one now. Here's a link to what I found: amzn.to/4fWsXqP

@ if you have the time you can google Higbees department store Cleveland or Public Square Cleveland Higbees. The chandeliers were beautiful.
Ruth's little wiggly foot!! 😍🥰
Yes! haha! Always
It’s a Wonderful Life, for sure! Beautiful video! We also HAVE to watch Home Alone and Home Alone 2!
Those are must-watch classics here too! My boys love those! Thanks for watching!
They all have LED lights now, but there are "warm tone" LEDs now. Thankfully, we're past the cold harsh blue toned LED phase. Your tree is beautiful.
I totally agree, It's a Wonderful Life is my favorite! Your kids looked so cute! 😊
Love seeing baby Ruth!

Wow that tree is beautiful! 😍
Thank you so much. I really been enjoying it.
Your quesadillas look delicious! You always give good ideas for quick and easy meals!
Thank you so much! Quick and easy weeknight meals happen a lot here during the school year!
I add antique kerosene lamps to cozy up the house. I will use them all winter and probably through Spring. And of course lots of blankets.
Love that idea! Kerosene lamps add such a lovely ambience. We keep those handy for when we lose electricity, great to have!
A Charlie Brown Christmas is my must-watch every year!
Yes! So fun!
So sweet! ❤
Thanks so much for watching!

White Christmas with Bing Crosby and Rosemary Clooney.
Always end up watching that one too! Bing is probably my go-to for Christmas music!
Preciosa bebé osita😊
