We Nepalese moved from Panchayat to Ganatantra. But still nothing has changed so much. Normal people are still missing out of trivial necessities. The burocratic system is still slow and complicated. Political leaders still promise us for a utopian Nepal somewhere in future but we don't see that getting built in the present. Also we as a people haven't changed either. We get easily carried away and are not responsible towards our priorities. So we have familiarized an excuse "Yestai nai ho Nepal ma" to make ourselves feel better but why aren't we able to see where it is taking us? I think we as a generation should take this question abit seriously. What a song! So many emotions summarized so beautifully. Thank you team Phosphene. You guys deserve so much more. Did you know? This music video actually is a very good translation of the song. A guy wants his document processed by the government (official), but it gets denied, time and time again, from the past time till the future, till when the earth itself is destroyed. The system is corrupt and flawed, but 'yestai nai ho yaha'. A very beautiful song/music video. I especially like the video, very deep.
It's not all about the government but the way he is living even he faced every rejection with a smile never cares about anyone but dancing and singing he has smalls reason to be happy which shows by the lolipop scene but everyone hide their pain but not everyone is good at showing it he wears glasses to hide and, when he took off the glasses you can exactly see in his eyes. We were at our office party(drunk) when Aman said, "Dai, naya geet cha, sunne ho?" and the moment I finished listening to the song I told him "Aman, sunne bitikai 70s dekhi present samma ako visuals vibe ayo malai ta" From that moment last year to finally shooting in August and taking a long time in post-production, to release day today, this video has been a project of passion and very close to our hearts. Thank you Phosphenes, for making this beautiful song and letting me play with it visually. Hope we did justice to the song.❤️❤️

Finally some fresh air away from cheesy love-romance blah blah lyricism (and music too in many ways) of songs these days and the cliche "dayaniya paatra" portrayal of a common Nepali generally pulled of in on concepts of MVs these days. Loved the fact that the mellowness of the Phosphenes still got its place in this song as well and they seem to do absolutely fine in lyrics written and sung in Nepali language too. Don't know whether it was an actual set-up or work of VFX, but the scenes of 2028 B.S. gave somewhat authentic vibe of those time imaginable to me. Much respect and love to the band and the crews. 🇳🇵💙
@ARandomGuy, glad you noticed the details. We worked on it as much as we could. BTW, there is a mix of both set-up as well as VFX involved in our attempt to recreating that time. :)

Absolutely amazed with the concept to create such a perfect craft. So basically it potrays goverment is sluggish and there is an unaccountability on the official govermental work in Nepal. Been a long time since i haven't vibe on the indie music but this gave a chill down to my spine and i have added to my favourites ❤
Amazing direction, storyline, VFX, cinematography, choreography, research, awareness and an Amazing music composition!! This is def next level !! The amount of details both on video and audio side tells how long it would had took them to research each detail and frame them !! This is true dedication !! The music is very Vibey, melancholic, reminded me of Gorillaz (Apologies I havent been very upto date on current music scene) . But the composition as soon as I heard it - I knew it had to be Diwas dai - thats his signature and current genre. He is always evolving his music !!

Man this is amazing. I can see this song being heavily influenced by many bands i know but still being totally its own thing. The Phosphenes are quickly becoming one of my favourite nepali bands. The ambient aesthetic of the music video blends perfectly with the dreamy catchy tune flow of the song. This is just perfect.

the song is taking a dig at slow bureaucratic process in government bodies where things never happen, to the point it's too late in the end (depicted by the guy always eating something on the table sending the lead artist back each time until the world actually ends). "Yestai nai hola" means "it's always this way".

Finally some fresh air away from cheesy love-romance blah blah lyricism (and music too in many ways) of songs these days and the cliche "dayaniya paatra" portrayal of a common Nepali generally pulled of in on concepts of MVs these days. Loved the fact that the mellowness of the Phosphenes still got its place in this song as well and they seem to do absolutely fine in lyrics written and sung in Nepali language too. Don't know whether it was an actual set-up or work of VFX, but the scenes of 2028 B.S. gave somewhat authentic vibe of those time imaginable to me. Much respect and love to the band and the crews. 🇳🇵💙

The amount of details both on video and audio side tells how long it would had took them to research each detail and frame them !! This is true dedication !!
The music is very Vibey, melancholic, reminded me of Gorillaz (Apologies I havent been very upto date on current music scene) . But the composition as soon as I heard it - I knew it had to be Diwas dai - thats his signature and current genre. He is always evolving his music !!

Man this is amazing. I can see this song being heavily influenced by many bands i know but still being totally its own thing. The Phosphenes are quickly becoming one of my favourite nepali bands. The ambient aesthetic of the music video blends perfectly with the dreamy catchy tune flow of the song. This is just perfect.

the song is taking a dig at slow bureaucratic process in government bodies where things never happen, to the point it's too late in the end (depicted by the guy always eating something on the table sending the lead artist back each time until the world actually ends). "Yestai nai hola" means "it's always this way".
