You can tell this video was mostly shot in Minnesota, they are singing and jumping into BLUE water, not green water. I have a cabin in Frederic WI, and my cousins have a cabin in Brainerd, MN. Huge difference in the quality of the water.
@ctownwestg Let me clarify: North Country for people in and around Minneapolis/St. Paul is Wisconsin. Trust me, come to my home town any Saturday and you will understand my point. Certainly, geographically speaking MN is farther north than WI. But this song is about "North Country" as in a spot people spend the weekends at a cabin on a lake. For many people in the Twin Cities that means Wisconsin.
